The guys moved our oversize wooden table and couch through a narrow spinning staircase to the van. It was very hard without taking apart. But the expert movers were able to make it. I need to write huge details on how they solved that issue, so not now. It was obvious that they can handle any situation. In my case, they not only did solve the particular problems but moved all my belongings to the new home without a glitch. I wish them the best.
I moved to Alaska and they couldn’t move me
I moved from CA to FL and was SCAMMED out of all of my stuff. They are holding it hostage and threatening to put it up for auction after TWELVE WEEKS of going back and forth. They are refusing delivery and trying to charge me 5x the original amount. I hired General Moving & Storage (Pompano Beach FL) who brokered it out to Perfectly Fast Moving (Cali). Both companies are shady, they have F ratings on the BBB and I am sharing my story to help save anyone who considers them in the future. Its been 3 months, I don't have any of my items (in fact some of it ended up with a stranger in New York) and they are trying to extort me for an insane amount of money to get any of my stuff back. IF YOU ARE MOVING A LONG DISTANCE, just sell everything and rebuy it. TRUST ME... all moving companies are shady and I am not the first person this has happened too and sadly, won't be the last. They don't care about you as a person, all they care about is the money and they've been scammers from the beginning.
I spoke to two to three companies before even speaking to General moving & storage. They honestly didn't even compare. The customer service that this company has is amazing. You can tell that they love what they do. They're very easy to work with, and they also accommodated all of my needs. The actual moving process went great. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mover.
