Great communication. Pricing was simple, straightforward and extremely reasonable. The moving crew was punctual, polite, friendly, courteous, hardworking, efficient and respectful of our belongings. They took apart and reassembled desks wrapped our furniture carefully and positioned the furniture where we wanted at our new location and removed all packing materials. I can't say enough good things about them. They far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend General moving & storage! HOORAY! High-quality customer service still exists!
I have never used a moving company before. I have always had family and friends assist me to move if needed. Unfortunately, I needed to move ASAP due to personal relationship reasons. I needed to do it immediately but was very hesitant about a moving company. I was pleasantly surprised how their moving team worked. They were outstanding in every aspect of the move. Very slick sales operation which does not outline the moving details and leaves many gray areas that will cost you big time in the end! If you want to make the manager accountable he will disappear and they will have your stuff! They outsource everything so not for out of state moves for sure. Beware!
The guys got everything packed up and loaded quickly. When there was a problem they helped get it solved and were quite nice about it. The guys who delivered the items weren't as nice and refused to do their job. I contacted the office and they had me file my claims. It took a while but they finally took care of things and paid for the mistakes. The sales guy and the guys who deal with the claims were very nice and understanding. Just make sure to have them pack it all so they are responsible for the issues and not you.
