This was the first time I moved across the country and I am so glad that I used General moving & storage. The service was great; every time I called this company, they were pleasant and professional and went above and beyond to help me. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move.
I filled out an online inquiry. I got a return phone call from Trish. I tried to call back and I got a voicemail so I hung up and planned on sitting down within the two hours to call her back and go over it. Next thing you know I get a text message telling me to don’t bother putting my name on INQUIRIES. So I called her and asked why the nasty test before I could get a word in she started yelling at me ....she could not have been nastier to me. She proceeded to yell at me “good luck with that and to F off” I am completely and appalled by this behavior. I will blog everywhere about this! BEWARE
Moving indeed is not less than a headache but these guys made my move very easy and smooth. They showed up on time and from that moment till end they were just doing work. I was amazed how efficiently they carried my heavy furniture. They were also good in wrapping and packing, none of my items got scratched or broken. I will hire General moving & storage for my future moves as well.
We have used General moving & storage to move out and move into our new home. The owner was prompt in calling us back. The guys were on time and worked hard to load and then unload the truck. We pay by the hour for moving so we wonder if crew members are taking more time to draw out the clock. You can probably think this way if you are using some other moving company but these guys were not. We could see how much effort they were doing and trying to do this move as early as possible. We were really impressed and I gave them good tip. We highly recommend General moving & storage.
The guys responded super fast, kept me in the loop with great communication, were incredibly professional (these guys are experienced movers), and were very careful to make sure not to damage anything. It was an all around very positive experience. I would absolutely recommend them and shall hire them again. Thanks guys!
