The rent was extremely high in florida florida and I need it to pack my 3 bedroom house and move it to Georgia quickly. I had a frustrating experience with another moving company that never showed up at my house. I decided to go with United American Moving and Storage instead, and they did an excellent job. They sent a team of five guys and a semi truck to handle my move. I had three 10 x 30 storage units to clear out and was on a tight schedule because I had a plane to catch. United American Moving and Storage managed everything efficiently and made sure everything was done on time. I was relieved and impressed with their professionalism and reliability. As a military member, I’ve moved 11 times in the past three years, using both military-provided and personal moving services. United American Moving and Storage exceeded my expectations. I’ve already recommended them to all my military families and will definitely use them again for our next move. This time, we moved from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to Portland, Oregon. The delivery was exceptional, taking only 10 days from pickup to drop-off. There was a minor scratch on one of the nightstands, but honestly, something always gets damaged, no matter how well you prepare. From start to finish, the team was very communicative. My gut feeling was right, and on moving day, they demonstrated just how superior they are compared to other moving companies.
Scammers and Brokers. Thieves. Dont trust fake reviews. They will give you one estimate and have you sign for it. Then they'll double it and tell you if you don't agree, they'll charge you anyway. There is no cancelation option. They just hustle people and scam them into charging what they want either during your move or a few days out. They try to trap you with a contract that claims your estimate won't exceed the agreed cost and then change it. My estimate went from 2200 to 3645 overnight. They tried to coerce me into giving them 500 immediately on top of the 850 I already paid two days before my move or they would not move me and they would still keep the 850. They said if I cancelled, they would also keep the 850 even though this was 2 days after I had reserved. Absolute criminals. They prey on military families in particular and have absolutely no empathy. This is a predatory company and should not be trusted.
