These are good, trustworthy, and professional brokers. They provided me with a fair estimate and hired movers who completed the job efficiently and with care. I will be using them again!

Well, my fiancé and I just combined our apartments and combining two sets of furniture into one was a mess. This company managed the moving side of things; however, things went well. As a broker, they matched us with movers that worked quickly, didn't assume, and didn't scratch a single wall despite having 2 large sectionals and a king bed! We applaud them!

Menards moving and storage(broker) and the company they hired to drive my belongings, Goodview moving and storage are the scum of the earth, crooked, lying, exploiting, evil companies ever! Do NOT ever use either Company!!! I’ve told all 56 people at my recent party and told each of them to pass it along about both of these companies. Menards says they are the most stress free moving companies in the country! That was absolutely NOT true. It was the MOST stress I have EVER had in my entire life! That includes a divorce, having two kids, and buying and selling two homes, and more! I was in remission with my autoimmune disease(pulmonary sarcoidosis) when I hired Menards. However, both deceitful companies caused me to be in a full flare up mode of sarcoidosis! Now I have extreme pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, unsteadiness, weakness, and more! It better not have traveled to my organs because of all this stress, or I’ll be suing both companies! My original estimate was $1768.50 for 350 cubic feet, back in April. Goodview driver called me on my pickup day(7-20-26) saying I needed more space for my belongings and that I needed to sign his email he sent me twice indicating I needed more space, like 300 more cubic feet. Thus, he wanted $2766 more money to add 300 more cubic feet! $461 for 50cf, and multiple that by 6 to get 300cf. He called me and yelled at me to sign sign sign and I refused to, so I told him to leave what he couldn’t fit in my space at my ex’s garage. Earlier I was quoted $461 to add two small bins and a collapsible shoe rack and collapsible drying unit, so I knew better to sign anything from these awful companies!! Menards purposely low balls your cubic feet estimate when you hire them and then they try and collect more money at pick up time. What a scam they have going on! I still can’t believe both of these companies are in business. I reported everything to the Attorney General’s office and they gave me FMCSA(Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) number, who I gave a complete report to and they gave me a complaint number. I am not done with them, as I’m trying to get the rest of my stuff from OH, about 40-50% that the driver left behind. I had two scammers posing as Goodview drivers. I was told by Menards to block both. Well they both had my address and number and I was worried that they’d come after me. I was told by Sabrina that she quaranteed that would not ever happen. She also told me that cashiers checks made out to Goodview would absolutely be ok for the drivers! I believe Menards was hacked, but they failed to tell their customers. I was told by both companies that someone will call me the next day and they never did. This happened every time I called either company. They said driver will call me an hour before arrival, and that didn’t happen on pick up and drop off. Driver who picked up my belongings on 7-20-26, was very late, and that was after a 3 hour window he had, so the driver didn’t get to my ex’s garage until almost 8pm! My ex had to yell at him to start packing asap as he was just sitting in the truck on the phone and smoking something. I was told by Menards that I could pay the two drivers with cashiers checks and of course both drivers said they needed cash of course! I discussed all of my issues with Antonio who was Menards supervisor (apparently) on 7-22-26. He was to look into it and call me back and that never happened. Both of these companies lied to me so many times every time I called them and that was almost daily! Goodview emailed me an email indicating that I needed to pay them an additional $1923 on an “Revised estimate” that I got on 7-27-26, a full week after my pick up. They wouldn’t answer my daily calls to both companies on when my stuff was to be delivered. So basically they were holding my stuff hostage until I pay the $1923 extra. I emailed them back and said I was NOT going to sign anything else and I would NOT pay any more money to either crooked companies!! Therefore, Goodview deleted that “Revised estimate” before I could get a picture. The delivery driver called the night before to say he was dropping off my stuff the next morning. He also gave me a very hard time saying he couldn’t take a cashiers check! I told him to call his boss while I called Menards, who told me that was perfectly fine. I’m not done with posting more complaints to other places, such as Trust Pilot and Better Business Bureau and FB and more.

I do not recommend Menards Moving & Storage or Immaculate Moving & Storage because we entered into a binding, not-to-exceed estimate/contract on 6/24/26. We had a long conversation with Frank Stevenson in which we detailed all items we wanted moved. Mr. Stevenson provided the binding, not-to-exceed estimate of $7,808.46, with a moving date of either 7/16 or 7/17/26. We were required to pay a deposit of $3,783.71 at that time. We called Mr. Stevenson back within 24 hours of the estimate and expressed concerns about Menards being a broker and not a carrier and about the possibility of increased costs. He assured us that we had a binding contract. On 7/13/26, we received a call from Forest Carlisle of Menards’ Quality Assurance department. We again went over all items to be moved, at which time (3 days before our schedule move), he increased the estimate to $12,403.50, a 47% increase from the original estimate. We were required to pay an additional deposit of $2,408.79, for a total deposit paid of $6,192.50. We were unable/unwilling to cancel the contract, because we would have forfeited the initial deposit, plus we were scheduled to be out of our home in three days. Menards contracted with Immaculate Moving, LLC to move our property. Immaculate arrived on 7/16/26 and did a very nice job protecting our furniture by wrapping in plastic or moving blankets, or both. When they had loaded approximately 60-70% of our belongings onto the truck, they indicated we were going to exceed the estimated cubic footage and increased our load to 1,950 cf, and our estimate increased to $15,864.81, which was more than twice our initial estimate provided by Menards. We were required to pay either in cash or by check the sum of $7,254.27. (In an email directly from Menards subsequent to the move, Menards indicated they could not/would not be responsible for actions of the carrier, Immaculate.) When the 26 foot box truck arrived on 7/16/26, it already had approximately 500 cf belonging to another customer. With the increase to 1,950 cf for our belongings, that brought the total cubic footage to 2,450 cf. AI indicates a 26 foot box truck has a capacity of 1,600 to 1,800 cubic feet and a weight limit of approximately 10,000 pounds. Per the estimates/bill of lading, we were being charged well in excess of the cubic foot capacity and the weight limits, especially considering the items already on the truck. On 7/23/26, Immaculate arrived to deliver our belongings. However, they only had approximately 70% of our belongings. In an email with the dispatcher for Immaculate on that date, we were advised the remainder of our belongings would be delivered “in a week” (7/30/26). However, as of 8/20/26, we have not received the remainder of our belongings, and Immaculate fails to answer phone calls, emails or texts. We have contacted Menards many, many times because their contract states, in part, as follows: “Menards…will act on behalf of the customer to resolve claims or delay issues with the carrier”. It is now four weeks after the partial delivery (five weeks after pickup) and Menards has been unable to provide updates beyond “they are waiting for an updated ETA”. They indicated they have left messages and spoken to a representative of Immaculate. They provided a phone number we already had, but indicated they were not allowed to provide any other phone numbers to us. We are willing to go pick up our belongings, but no one will tell us where our belongings are located.

WARNING!!!!!!!! The worst experienced and customer service. They only call back until they get your money. Once they have the funds they could care less aboit you. It had been over 30 days and our material is still sitting in a local storage waiting to get picked up. They won't call back. If you want some advice, don't use this company. The are middle company and totally useless. Also be careful, the company Menards hirea to move your stuff will upcharge you after they load the stuff in their truck. It is a toral scam.
