Pleased with how the movers handled my move. There were multiple stops during the relocation and all of them were at quite a distance from each other. However, the crew reigned successful over that complicated task and wrapped up delivery within the expected time. Hats off to all of them.

I recently moved across the country with Menards Moving & Storage, and I couldn't be happier with how it all went. From the first phone call to the final delivery, everything was top-notch. The team was super friendly and really took the time to understand my needs. They packed all my stuff with great care, making sure everything was secure. On moving day, they were right on time and handled my things as if they were their own. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, which was a huge relief. I can't recommend Menards enough for a hassle-free move!

The movers were incredibly friendly and experienced, making the whole process so much less stressful. They packed everything carefully, making sure our belongings were secure. They were punctual, arriving exactly when they said they would and finishing the move efficiently. The rates were very reasonable, especially for the high level of service. The movers were also very accommodating, putting all our furniture exactly where we wanted it in our new place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely use Menards again in the future. Highly recommend them for anyone planning a move!

My experience with Menards was one of the most stressful few days of my life. I was quoted about $3,700 for the move from KY to FL over a month before it happened. I received a call the week before the movers were due to come, and they re-estimated my move at closer to $6,700. They give you a two-day window, but I was told to be ready on the first day as that is when the trucks normally show up. I was called the day before the truck was supposed to show up telling me that I should receive calls 24, 10, 4, and 1 hour prior to the truck arriving. I received zero calls on the first day so I called the after-hours line. I was hung up on at least 6 times and never got through to anyone helpful. After enlisting my realtor's help, we found a way to get ahold of the owner of Menards. I explained to him what had happened, and instead of apologizing, he went on and on about how proud of himself he was that he was calling me to assist. I was told the truck would be arriving between 8-10 am the next day. Around 10 am the next morning I received a call from the driver that he was an hour out. He ended up showing up around 1130 and the other two helpers did not show up until after 1230. I was supposed to close that afternoon at 230 so we had to push it back. They loaded up the truck and I was told the total was actually around $10,000 (about triple what I was initially quoted). We argued back and forth until I called the Menards owner again who had to talk to the driver's boss. He did help get me a small discount on the amount the driver quoted me. Mr Menard (the owner) then told me that if he was doing this move it would cost over $17,000 so in reality I was saving money (this is probably the most insane thing I've ever heard). The driver then asked if he could meet me the next morning. We were driving from Lexington, KY to Orlando, FL which is over 13 hours so I told him I would not be there until the evening (he was audibly frustrated by this). After I arrived in FL, I received a call from him saying he will be at the storage unit between 5-7 pm. He showed up to the storage unit and was angry that the unit was on the 2nd floor. He asked if I could find one on the first floor. He said if I couldn't, it would be a $350 fee for a "long haul" move since it needed to be taken up the stairs. I said ok and found a ground floor unit for about $270 more than I was paying for the second floor unit. He went to look at the unit and said that since it was not right next to the door, I would have to pay $200 for the long haul. I told him that in that case, I'd go back to the 2nd floor unit because that would be cheaper for me. He told me "I don't care, I'll put your s*** outside. F*** you" and hung up on me. I immediately called Mr. Menard and he was able to get that fee waived. Finally, all of my stuff ended up in the storage unit. I was initially told Menards would move my belongings from the storage unit to my home free of charge, but I ended up using another company due to the stress incurred with Menards. I would highly recommend using some type of storage pod and hiring movers. It's much more efficient and less stressful. Note that Menards did not perform the moving themselves. They are a broker and use a 3rd party to move. However, you have no say in who the 3rd party mover is so there is no point in using Menards for this service

My move to my condo went smoothly the team arrived on time and quickly wrapped my belongings in 8 hours. Since they wrapped up packing earlier than expected, they asked me if I would be comfortable with same-day delivery. I was honestly touched at how they sought my approval, and it was a superb idea in and of itself too. The sooner I got settled in, the better it was since I could get back to my routine life quickly. I wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again!
