Unique Moving Services made sure my grandma's delicate and antique objects were treated with the utmost care. They went above and beyond to protect our goods while in storage. They had very convenient fees for storage services too. They secured everything in the moving truck so nothing was damaged during the transport. I cannot say enough great things about them. They will be my first choice for sure if I have to move house again. A good friend of mine is also very satisfied with their services since he hired them a couple of weeks after my move.
My family and I used Unique Moving Services for our recent local move and I wanted to share how our move went in hopes their upper management would take our experience into consideration as well as any other customers who might consider using them. We decided to call multiple local companies after realizing we would be unable to do everything on our own. We expected it to cost much more than if we were to do it ourselves but the quote we received was very reasonable. The driver and the movers as well as everyone from their office was great. The truck that arrived for pickup appeared clean and new. Once everything was completed, they explained the price did increase due to the amount of packing they had to do for us as well as the additional space we took up in the truck. We were somewhat frustrated that we were not told ahead of time about these charges as well as shocked at the amount they charge for each box. However, we did receive a call from their office who offered some compensation for the issues. I would give them 3 out of 5 stars as there is room for improvement on the way they present the pricing up front. Next time we move, we will be sure to ask a lot more questions before agreeing to use any company or signing paperwork.
I used Unique Moving Services a few months ago. I was pretty nervous for the most part. I have NOT moved in the past, but a lot of friends have had terrible experiences. I opted to get an in home estimate (per advise from others). I was fairly happy with the quote. They definitely were not the cheapest, but the guy that came was so nice. They were a little bit late on the day of pick up and left me waiting around with no answers. I finally received a call and was told the movers were a few miles away. They arrived within the next twenty minutes. The move went smooth. I did have a few scratches on my kitchen table, but that was it. I was surprised because they did a great job at putting blankets on everything. I would recommend, all said and done.
