Horrible company. Stay away from Silverback, Kenway Moving and Storage and Blue Oak. They go by various names. Read the Better Business Report Complaints. I am not the only one with issues. Our household goods were picked up by Blue Oaks moving and Storage and were to be stored in a climate controlled warehouse by Silverback Moving for up to 2 years while we moved to Florida. We paid them $787.50 per month for this service. Upon scheduling to pick up our items in December 2022, we found out that most of our furniture and belongings were stored in a sea container outside, were wet, molded and frozen. Most had to be thrown out. In addition, only half of our belongings were given to the moving company we hired even though they promised everything would be ready. It required us to have to come back to Michigan from Florida to make a second delivery. These items were stored inside, no water or mold, however most of our boxes had been infested with mice. They are unresponsive and will not be helpful. Again, stay away
Silverback Moving are life-savers! The moving company we hired cancelled our move, so we had to look for another one. It was an extremely stressful period for me, but thanks to them everything turned out just fine. With Silverback moving there were no complications whatsoever. They were very respectful of my belongings and my tight schedule. They wrapped, loaded and unloaded my belongings with the utmost care. They even offered their help while I was dismantling my dinning table. Amazing professionals! Will be happy to recommend their services to all my friends and neighbors.
Silverback Moving handled my parents move and I could not be more thankful for their great team work. My parents were very nervous about letting complete strangers move all of their items. However, both myself and my brother were unable to complete the move for them and we knew we would need to hire professionals. Their office staff assured me and my brothers that my parents would not have to lift a finger and they would make sure everything went as planned. Their kindness made this move a lot easier and my parents even felt like they knew them by the time they were finished packing and loading all of their items. They arrived as expected and my parents were able to enjoy their new home with little left to them themselves. I am forever grateful for this company and their assistance.
Silverback Moving provided me when the best service I could have hoped for. We needed to move our 2 bedroom apartment from Arizona to Michigan and these guys by far exceeded our expectations. They completed the move by doing everything they promised and more. They flew our a team of 4 men and loaded two full trucks which drove to the delivery location. We were contacted every step of the way and knew ahead of time when to plan for their arrival. They assisted us in packing some items and even offered to unpack. They were polite and handled everything in a professional manner. I would use them again for any type of move.
