Let’s be fair. Jerry’s a good guy. He called in a bind & asked to move my date up. No problem. I worked with his schedule & moved my date up 4 days. He brought Junior & they got my small job in 2 hours. They worked well, very courteous & efficient. No wardrobes or boxes, so I had to put my Hangup in large trash bags last minute, but hey - worse things can happen. We rolled with it. He stayed in contact with my son (in NC) about delivery, as time changed. But again. We rolled with it. No problem. Until - he showed up alone!! Expected my son to be his crew! Now my son’s a great guy & physically able, so he did. But, this wasn’t the contract. Further, they carried things up & Jerry left. The bed wasn’t put together. The furniture wasn’t placed. The drawers weren’t back in the desk. Incomplete job from the video I saw. So … when my son asked Jerry if he was alone on the drive from Texas to North Carolina, Jerry said “Yes, I’d have to pay somebody $600 to come along.” He certainly didn’t offer my son any $$ for his help unloading or the bed assembly and furniture moving he’ll be doing now that Jerry’s gone. I paid the full contract, but certainly do NOT recommend using for moves out of area.
