Professional Movers of Charleston

This is the worst and most expensive moving company in Charleston County. My move was stressful and I paid $7480 to move into a 2 bedroom apartment that was less than a half mile away. I had upgraded my storage shed and did a thorough declutter so they did not have much to move. And I purchased new furniture that was delivered after the move. The Owner, Chris, is impossible to deal with, and he is right all the time. The customer comes last in their list of priorities. The move was stressful and super fast paced since they book too many moves in 1 day. I was exhausted and don't think I could of gone at that fast pace if I was over 55. This company might of started out with fair prices and a great team but they sure have taken advantage of their awards and their standards have fallen off a cliff. These are not experienced movers. After I paid PMC that much money to move, I thought my belongings would be in great shape. Nope, my picture frames were bent and I had to get new wood to hang my canvas art work which is very expensive. I did not call the owner, because you will never win a debate with Chris. It's sad to see this company take advantage of a moving situation when most people are worried about the high cost of moving. I was talking to a friend from Isle of Palms last night, and he said PMC company is the worst. He had heard a ton of complaints. I am Born and raised in South Carolina. My move into my condo was $2500, 10/22/22, which included boxing my items and moving them 3 miles. I thought they were unexperienced, but I was wrong when I had to deal with Chris and his team. Don't use this company! They will bleed you financially and ruin your belongings. Very rigid too! If your move had to be pushed out a week due to new construction, then more money and he asked for a full down payment for a specific day. That can be very difficult if you are dealing with new construction. Please call William, owner of, Will Move Ya. His number is (843)557-2593. They have professional movers and it flows so easily that you no longer have to be stressed. Chris, Citadel movers, uses old blue blankets and left foam dots all over my home. I was worried because I have pets and this foam could clog their breathing. Chris claimed it was from the heat but William did not have blankets break apart. Even if you have a big moving budget, the stress of PMC Rookies is not worth it when it comes to moving. William is great and does not need 12 guys sitting around wondering what to do next like PMC. William has smaller crew but they have been moving people for 8 years in Charleston County. They are more efficient and nothing will be broken. PMC had to use a UHaul and I had to pay for it so their trucks are not free. Someone has to pay for the trucks and it is not going to be Chris with PMC, Citadel crew. One last thing, you have to find a place to park their Uhauls, if the move gets delayed and you have to leave your belongings in the truck. And they charge you $100/night to park their rented Uhaul in a lot that you have to arrange. The lot I had their Uhaul truck needed to be moved 5 feet in order for the trash men to empty the trash the next day. Chris wanted to charge me triple overtime to move the truck 5 feet that was parked at the bottom of the Ravenel bridge. Call William if you want your belongings in the same condition when they were moved and you can save yourself $5000. William does not agree with price gouging the customer.
