Believe the rating that you see on Google. They simply do not care. I used their service for moving from NJ to TX back in June 2022. A representative named Ryan contacted me. He was a friendly fellow at first, sounding sincere and cordial. He promised many things, repeatedly claiming that the assessment is final and “rock-solid.” He also ensured of his availability, stating he’s reachable anytime including weekends. I even talked with the owner Tom who pretty much ensured the same promises. As soon as you sign the contract, the honeymoon period is over. If you haven’t signed the contract yet, please take note of the ridiculous 48-hour cancellation policy. The fact is Ryan avoided my calls during this window, as I approached him with a different quote from a competitor. If you have already signed the contract and are still in the time window, I suggest you cancel the contract ASAP with a written request. What eventually happened is that they sold my contract to a different broker (who they call “partner”). I later learned they take a hefty premium for the few friendly initial phone calls, and they ditch you to the bottom-tier broker who’ll run a s*** show with your belongings. They will bend the rules to their advantage. If you underestimate your items, they’ll charge ridiculous premiums on the extra items. If you over-estimate, they’ll simply swallow the extra payment you made. On the moving day, one of the movers got frustrated because he couldn’t disassemble our refrigerator correctly. He later threw a box on the ground in front of our 5 yo threatening to tip extra for their “hard work.” Once the items are picked up. You’re at their mercy to receive the item. Do not expect to receive your items on time. Do not expect anyone to pick up your calls. And, on the day of arrival, you’ll be surprised by all the damage done to your belongings. They broke our LG washer’s shock absorber which is a critical component that sustains the weight of the drum of any front-load washer. They scratched and damaged our premium Samsung refrigerator. They dented my Martin D-28 acoustic guitar. And yet, they are making every excuse to avoid the damage claim. Simply ridiculous.
