This was the worse move I've ever had. 3 ceramic lamps broken because they were not packed properly. They had been moved numerous times before without being damaged. Lamp shades damaged and torn. But the worst thing was that my parents wedding rings and my wedding band were stolen. These were not flashy expensive jewelry. My parents are dead and these were all I had left of them. I stopped wearing my wedding band because my fingers had grown a bit bigger. A bracelet that looked like real gold but probably wasn't was also taken but had no sentimental feelings attached to it. I am elderly and very ill and could not watch every move they made and they were in such a hurry to get out of there as it was getting late. I was exhausted and my friend who was helping me also could not keep up with them. I never expected so much damage. They even tore a big strip off one of my wheelchair tires. But the rings are irreplaceable and the only things that matter to me. I would caution anyone considering hiring these people to look elsewhere if you value your possessions because they don't. I did not hire them. After I had signed a contract with Colonial Moving they subcontracted my move to J D Moving in Texas. BEWARE! THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.
