Good Greek Moving and Storage

This is long. Be patient. We decided to do construction and needed storage so, as the commercials advertise, Good Greek was the place to call. Billy got us hooked up with getting our things picked up and put in storage . I paid immediately, which is a requirement. I did a great review. Then we needed some other moving done, so I called again, we got it done quickly, and I gave another great review. Also, paid immediately, which was a requirement. We've been paying since February for storage and needed to get our things delivered back to the house. I called and got us scheduled for Sunday, July 30, morning. Oh, I paid immediately, which was a requirement. We got up and were ready for the guys to arrive. At 1140 I called to ask about what time they'd be there. Oh, the guy said, they had to go back to yesterday's house to finish up but would be back to the warehouse to get our things as soon as possible. Ok, I said, that will be about 2 to 3 hours I guess? The guy says yes that's about right. I asked why no one called. He said, oh, sorry. So, 4 hours later, at 330 I called again. Oh, sorry, they can't come because of the truck. The truck, I ask? If there's something wrong with the truck, don't you have like a 140 other trucks they could use since that's an advertisement? No. I ask why am I calling YOU about this? Why didn't someone call me? I said I'd like to talk to a supervisor. She gets on and tells me they can't because of the truck. I am furious by now and all she wants to do is de-escalate and tell me I need to calm down. I want to know why I had to call twice? Why aren't they using another truck? What am I supposed to do with the people helping me that have been waiting for 8 hours? The people here to help me work all week and this is why we decided to do this on Sunday, which was thankfully the opening the employee gave ME. So, now I have to wait a few days and will get to do this by myself. I did my part. I paid up front and did good reviews. The commercials reel us in and then we get fooled just like John Doe moving company down the street. Today is Monday and I've heard nothing. I asked to talk to the manager. Nope. Mr. Good Greek should feel ashamed of this kind of service.

Following on from the review below, after causing damage to over $7000 dollars worth of furniture and possessions, Good Greek thought it appropriate to tell me how all of their employees complete a 4 week superhero academy to ensure they are all trained and competent. Unfortunately this super academy doesn't teach its employees to unpack drawers before packing furniture, how to store and move furniture the right way up, how to pack furniture into a removal truck or how to reassemble furniture correctly on delivery. Absolutely the worse removal company with the most appalling service I have ever experienced. Following on from my review of the absolute appalling service and unprofessionalism I experienced with Good Greek and the review [see below) it's astounds me how quickly they follow up with an attempt to apologise and a note to say someone will contact me. Natuarally and unsurprisingly no one has following the review - further testomy to the appalling service I experienced, and damage to over $7000 worth of furniture and possessions. Having used this company to move from Florida to North Carolina we were horrified to see the amount of damage to our furniture and possessions on the day that the removal truck was unloaded. Damage included an office desk that was completely destroyed to the point that it was in pieces, with the contents left in the drawers and strewn all over the floor of the removal truck. Also, a three-seater leather sofa that had a hole ripped into the side of it, a tv cabinet where one of the glass doors was missing, damaged bedside cabinet with hole pushed through the top, broken china, broken linen baskets, broken stainless steel kitchen trash can. Furniture was stacked upside down in the van and when the movers tried to unload a bedroom dresser, all of the contents inside had not been packed and were left loose and were displaced everywhere. In addition to the substantial damages, they had lost all of the fittings to another bedroom set and were unable to put it back together on delivery. The movers reassembled a dining table which was left so unstable that nothing could be put on top. All that was required was to tighten the screws which they had not been bothered to do. How I wish I had chosen another company to have completed the move. And now some two months on, they have only just apologized for any inconvenience!

Good Greek Moving and Storage organized and executed my move during the hottest day in the summer. I was moving during the peak season and my move took longer than expected due to the high traffic. Also, my bed headboard was damaged throughout the process, but they were quick to offer a solution. In fact, they repaired it the following day. More importantly, I was charged the same amount that was quoted in the beginning, in spite of all unexpected delays and mishaps. Their professionalism was very impressive. They wanted to make things right as soon as the issue appeared.

Good Greek moving and storage worked very hard to make the move go as planned and promised. I had a huge move to take care of and the entire project was stressing me out. All four of them showed an amazing commitment and discipline throughout the move, which is why I will be referring all my friends to this outstanding company. They managed to complete everything in a timely manner and treated me and my belongings with respect. They really care about the customers’ satisfaction and I decided to pay them back with a positive review and recommendations. They’ve deserved my trust and respect and this is the least I can do.

Moving with Good Greek Moving & Storage was a great experience! We were moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to our first house and we were very stressed. Monarch made everything a lot better! They handled everything from packing, loading and driving. They arrived on time for the pickup and delivery which was great because we only took a few days off work. We were able to spend an entire day unpacking because they arrived as promised. I would recommend them for anyone's move, big or small.
