DO NOT HIRE!! They scammed me and cancelled my move 1 day before they were supposed to come. Then when I tried to get a refund they said they couldn’t refund me because I canceled which is simply a lie. I could not believe how unethical they are! I had to get my bank involved and they finally got my money back. BEWARE

Complete scammers. DO NOT USE THEM. I had to go through my bank to get a refund after these "lovely people" called to tell me my move was canceled about 36 hours before I was set to leave. I had to move with only what could fit in my car (plus my animals so I didn't have much space). I was promised a refund, but they ducked all my calls and wouldn't respond to any of my emails. Scammy gross scammers, do not use them! How these people sleep at night is beyond me.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY – let me repeat – DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! The sales process was delightful, with Kat handling all the details while promising a delivery in 5 DAYS. Once the carrier that they hire (on your behalf) picks up your items, you are then told that the carrier has up to 21 WORKING DAYS to deliver your items. Meaning 1 MONTH! Had I known this at first, I would have chosen a different option. I had many options! The customer service team (Regina and Christie) are suppose to represent YOU with the carrier. You will learn quickly that you are not the customer and that the carrier has full control. EXPO has no influence whatsoever to manage your delivery. In fact, I just got off the phone with customer service and they indicated that if they call the carrier too many times, that the carrier can purposely delay the shipment out of spite. REALLY? I also tried to call the carrier directly. Left multiple messages. Not once did they return a call. EXPO customer service encouraged me to call the carrier and acted surprised that they would not respond to my calls. Yet, also said that the inability to get a carrier to respond is why people use brokers. A lot of finger-pointing going on here! THIS BROKER LIES TO GET YOUR BUSINESS and then does nothing to support you (THE CUSTOMER) except to call the carrier and tell you the carrier’s lies. There is zero empathy from a company that is in possession of everything that you own. Expect for your life to be in limbo for a month, or more! By the way, the carrier they assigned to us was PRO TRI STATE MOVERS. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Yep, they get 1 out of 5 stars. So, EXPO uses carriers that are deemed incompetent according to the BBB. Our delivery was missing a full-length mirror and a large box of shoes and boots, all valuing ~ $1000. When we submitted a claim, they only approved a reimbursement of $53. Did I say… DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY? Horrible company to work with! They canceled my move 2 days prior to pick up and refused to give me a refund. My bank had to get involved. They take your money and disappear. Don’t work with them! Save yourself time, money, and the stress.

##BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM###I had a move set from Staten Island New York to Jackson Tn. I spoke with Jake on 6/15/21, who was very persistent on making sure I chose this company instead of the other company I consulted with. Jake and I came to an amount of a deposit of $1141.00,and the difference of $703.92 at the time of pick up, and $703.92 at time of drop off. Jake told me I could give him a post dated check on 6/15/21 but it would not be cashed until 6/25 so I could lock in this discounted amount. I woke up 6/16 with alert from my bank that the check was Cashed! I called Jake no answer, left messages no callback. I called the office got a rep Megan who said Jake would call. When Jake called he kept telling me he was at a car-lot and I would have to wait until he can get back to office. Funds was put back so we went thru with the pick up. Movers arrived 7/3,they charged me to pack the 2 tv's Jake told me would be included in my price. Also they started to up charge me $250 then another $250 saying I ran out of space allotted (even tho I gave my inventory list to Jake who advise if anything they over gage on phone ,and I would probably be getting a refund. Also all the items I advise on list didn't make it on truck because movers was advising more money yet again. I felt extorted in my home. Movers are telling me if I give them a tip of almost $250 they could help with the price! I called Jake while movers was at home no answer. I spoke with Megan she advise that she is going to get paperwork form movers because they are advising 9 extra things were added ,and she can talk to them about charging extra for each tv. I called over and over after a week of no callbacks or delivery or even an eta of delivery ,and Megan kept telling me to wait for paperwork. Delivery was 7/3 almost a month later. My daughters and I having only a week of items packed because Jake advise give movers about a week to drop off. I called company again got Meagan who told me she don't have paperwork, and there is nothing she can do. I advise Megan this is why I hired the company, was advise that fine I can get paperwork on my own, I requested her manager ,and was told she is . Asked to be transferred to Megan's manager or another manager she giggled and transferred to the generic mailbox. I have not heard anything since. I will be also making a attorney general compliant as well. This has to stop! I recorded my conversations. My total should have been $2548.84 and I ended up paying $3678.00 which is $1129.46 over the amount that I was told. I don't want this to happen to anyone else ,and will make sure I take this as far as I can.
