0/10 stars for sure. being a military family we have moved A LOT and dealt with tons of moving compa over the last 18 years. this by far been the WORST experience with any moving company that we have ever had, they showed up a day later standard contractor date they didn't send enough workers to pack out and load my home they lied to me and my husband repeatedly. They took a portion of our household goods that had not been packed wrapped or inventoried to another city 2 to 3 hours away in the middle of our patch job without our knowledge or consent and lied to us repeatedly about when the team members would return with our goods and finish packing. they left their semi truck with half our household goods unsecured/unlocked and unmanned illegally parked in our cul de sac blocking all of our neighbors for an entire day that day. they literally just left. And finally now that we have a new residence at our new base they are not answering our phone calls or returning our messages they gave us a delivery date which they did not deliver on and have since refused to give us any projected delivery dates!! My husbands household goods from overseas have made it to our new residence before our household goods that were only shipped across 2 states! This has been a NIGHTMARE!
if you are like me, you checked out reviews before moving forward. lol haha. I did in fact read some complaints, and was unsure. But I can attest that the additional fees associated with moving is valid. I packed myself, right, so I thought, all my furniture was properly wrapped to protect and avoid any damages during the move. When my furniture arrived in another state, I ask the driver where is my this, & that, the item was broken down, taken apart, properly wrapped and boxed for delivery. I can honestly say that I am a 100% satisfied customer and would highly recommend EAGLE VANLINES for your move. FYI: $2500 ROUNDED OFF, I TIPPED! HINT!
I would give Eagle Van Lines 10 stars if I could because they deserved even more than that. A group of three arrived on time that morning and started their task immediately. It was actually a while ago, but believe it or not, I'm still under strong impression. From my first phone call I just knew that my move was in good hands. I read online reviews and other customers' testimonials which encouraged me to hire them. That was an excellent decision! They will be my first choice for my next move! I have also recommended them to some of my good friends.
I had one of the best moving experiences with Eagle Van Lines. They were very easy to talk to and came in a timely manner. It was very important to me that I would be able to get things done on time, so I did not have to miss work. The last number that I use broke a lot of items and we actually didn't get a lot delivered. They told us they were not going to reimburse us for this stuff. Eagle Van Lines went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and make sure that we had a better experience.
Eagle Van Lines did a great job at setting up our move. Everything went smooth, however there were a little bit of damages done to our furniture, but the claims department compensated it all. The 'dispatcher' was not the kindest person. We definitely had some words. But I will definitely give credit where it is due. The rest of the move was great. Every other person I encountered was super kind and friendly. They all did their jobs efficiently. I literally have no other complaints. All time frames were abided by and the delivery was fast and efficient as well. I was a little disappointed by the scratched on the furniture. However, they did go above and beyond to make sure I was compensated over whatever the basic insurance give (which is basically nothing, to be honest). For future reference, I would definitely recommend looking into getting whatever additional insurance you can. It would probably give you ease knowing that you won't be messed around with in the end. Not my specific experience, but I have read a lot about it. Overall, I am pleased. I would recommend.
