Will not be using again and do not recommend. (Kinda long read but please read and make yourself aware of the possibilities) Pros - They were on time. Very quick. Took care of all the items. Gave me a very easy to understand quote and at a reasonable price. Cons - Payment methods.... In the beginning when I was speaking to the owner, I was informed that credit cards were an acceptable payment method. He gave me my quote and I successfully paid the deposit with my credit card. The day of the move came. During the 5 hours of moving, the owner NEVER conveyed to me or my mother that there was any change to the form of payments he was accepting. After they had finished, I handed him my credit card to pay the balance and he said that he was no longer accepting that. I asked why and he gave some BS story about his bank sending money to the wrong account or something. The story itself sounded extremely sketchy and full of lies. He said that I could pay with Venmo. I told him that I did not have a Venmo and I was not going to be creating one just for him. He became increasingly agitated, repeating "I gotta get paid. I need my money." as if he was trying to blame us for "not paying him". We informed that we were NOT trying to not pay him. We wanted to pay him and his team for their work. We offered to write a personal check but informed him that the check book was still back at the old house (an hour away). We did not bring it as a form of payment because we were never told that paying with a credit card was going to be an issue. He said he would take the check but he would have to add "drive time" to our bill. That's when I got loud and stern (no cussing or disrespect). I told him that he was not going to penalize us due to the fact that he can not get the financial aspects of his business in order. Plus he NEVER conveyed to us the issue of payment methods that day. He was still extremely agitated and said he needed a minute outside. He came back in with his Square reader and suddenly, it was a miracle, he was able to take credit card again. I swiped the card, he sent the receipt, and left. That whole act created extreme distrust. I don't know what exactly he was trying to accomplish. It honestly seems like he was trying a work a round to get us to send money to a different personal account. Again I'm not sure but everything felt extremely sketchy. (Cons continue...) As for his team of 4 guys, I had issues with half of them. 2 of the guys were extremely pleasant, easy to talk to, happily listened to my requests when it came to placement of furniture in new house. The other 2 were not. First off, they seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. Bad attitude, chip on their shoulder.They had absolutely no communication skills. Anytime you tried to ask them to do something with the furniture, they rolled their eyes and mumbled under their breath. Pressuring for a review - At the end of the move, the owner pressures you to complete a Google review before the balance is paid and they leave. It felt like he was pressuring me to leave a good review out of fear/paranoia that something might secretly be added to the end balance before I pay. I kept telling him that I rather do it later because I had way too much going on at that current moment. He kept insisting and pushing on the review to be completed right then. So I left him a quick good review to get him off my back. Less than 24 hours later, I am currently revising that original review. CONCLUSION: I highly do NOT recommend. Yes, they took care of my items in a timely manner. But the way the owner is handling his business and his men is extremely sketchy and not trustworthy. Find someone else.
