I’m glad we chose Coburn van lines for our recent move. I spoke with a polite representative who reassured me that everything would be just fine. I had no idea about how to organize a household move and I needed someone reliable to guide me. I got a quote that seemed acceptable and the entire process was explained as well so I knew what to expect. Not only were they on time both for the pick-up and delivery, but they also unpacked everything in no time. When I checked my items against the inventory list there were no missing items. I will recommend these hard workers to all my friends for sure!
Coburn Van Lines assisted us in our move from FL to IL. They really made sure they handled everything with the highest level of service. They were professional, on time and their communication skills were outstanding! All of our items were properly packed and handled into and out of the truck. They staged our home to our liking and even took time to organize the remaining boxes into the right rooms! We will never use any other moving company!
Pleased, overall, with how everything went. Coburn Van Lines had great communication, which is important to me. They also never missed a chance to keep me informed. I move a lot. I know how to analyze companies. The one thing I did not really appreciate is on of the movers had a short temper. Did not really sit well with me, as I did not consider it professional. I would have left a lower star rating just for that, but everything else with Coburn Van Lines went swimmingly, so it would be rude of me to do that. He has been reported to customer service and the manager. So, hopefully, they are taking matters into their own hands.

Their pricing was very transparent from the very beginning, there were no hidden fees. They provided specialty moving boxes at a convenient price since I already was their client. Also, I have to mention that there was a terrible heat outside and I cannot thank them enough for what they’ve done. In spite of the unbearable weather, they did great. The people at Coburn Van Lines got off to a bad start when the truck did not arrive during the 12-2pm expected time. Nor was I called to be informed of the delay. I called the office at 2pm and was told they would reach out to the drivers and give me a call back. At 2:30, having heard nothing, I called and was told they would be there in an hour which was much too late to get started. We rescheduled for their first opening which was 9-11am the following day. From that point forward, all went very well. We received a call at 8:30am that the truck would arrive at 9:00am. It arrived on time and the crew was excellent: very professional and efficient, carefully loading and then uploading at the destination, hauling down, then up two flights of narrow stairs. So the move itself exceeded expectations. I am not sure if they were short staffed on the day of the first attempted pickup but they should work harder at making sure they are consistent and keep their customers informed at all times.
