BIG Scam!!!!! Original quote, all inclusive was less than $600 for about 3 miles, furniture only, single stories. Once arrived at the location, blackmailed me asking for $4200 in cash, then hours of negotiating lowered it to $3600 otherwise they will take off with my belongings!
DO NOT HIRE THEM!! I had a very bad experience with small move movers. They give you an estimate and don’t tell you about the surcharges. In spite of giving them an upfront notice of stairs and all the possible details they have overcharged me to such a great extent. They cheat their customers. After all this my stuff was delivered after a month with so much damage. STAY AWAY!
Sadly I was not impressed with this company. The movers did an okay job, a number of items were broken and of course there was nothing done by the company to reimburse me for these things. The company does not accept debit/credit which is strange when the world uses these forms of payment all the time. It was very difficult to get the payment done that night. The movers were not able to find the final address for the move which was crazy. I am still upset about items that were broken and I found more after I opened more boxes. I would never use this company again and I am not sure they are legitimate.
I love these movers!!! I have moved 10+ times and have used several different moving companies. Small Move Movers has been my mover of choice for my last two moves, and I'm about to use them again. They've always been on time, courteous, and easy to work with. The pricing is very reasonable! And in every move, nothing has ever broken - shocking, because some of the furniture was IKEA. I wholeheartedly recommend and trust these people. Also, I just found out that they have a PriceByTruck model, where you can stop worrying about the exact inventory and just pay based on the size of truck you need. Freaking amazing!!!
