I am a victim of absolute fraud from this moving company ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ who cheated me and didn’t do pickup service despite paying a total amount of $1,825.63 to them. When I was first called by Chris Baker of this company, I emailed him a complete list of my belongings in an excel file along with 20 pictures of the same stating that my studio apartment area being 550 sq. ft., the volume of my belongings would be under 500 cubic feet. He sent me review links about his company in an email which seemed to be good, though I see now that these reviews are fake and must have been written by some company employees themselves. After this, Chris without looking at the size of my belongings, finalized the quote at $2,675.00 to match that of U-Haul. The owner of ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ named Benjamin Betancourt, then spoke with me and told me that he could offer me a $300.00 discount to make the total moving estimate as $2,375.00 if I pay a deposit of $950.00 and reserve the move right away on that day. Benjamin Betancourt told me that their company move prices were low because they are a direct moving company and not a broker. If that was the case, why did they send U.S. Logistics truck on the day of the move and screw up my move? All these were lies of Benjamin Betancourt which I didn’t think of earlier. He gave me his cell phone number on the first day as +1 (754) 241-4988, along with his office extension of 1008 after dialing the company main phone number (866) 414-9888 telling me that those phone numbers are to give me peace of mind and asked me to keep faith in them. It was later after paying an initial deposit of $950.00 that I realized that his cell phone number of +1 (754) 241-4988 is out of service and his office extension of 1008 is hardly reachable. Their moving services told me later that the deposit should have been $1,075 and that it was a mistake to charge me $950.00 only, so they need to charge me another $125. Then, they charged me another $125 towards the deposit which I paid making a total deposit of $1,075. All these were red flags which I realized too late. I realized that they had put only 300 cubic feet in their moving quote which may not be sufficient as clarified by me in the beginning itself when I had given them my list of belongings with pictures. So, I requested them to update the cubic feet of space to 500, to which they asked for an additional deposit of $200 which I paid making a total deposit of $1,275. While doing so, they also raised the total quote price from $2,375 to $2,376.25. All these extra extortion of deposit amounts were red flags about the absolute fraudulent nature of this company which I realized when it was too late. I got a confirmation from Wells Fargo about the Zelle payment of $200.00 few mins after I made it, but still they lied telling me that they had not received the payment yet and once they receive it, they will send me the revised binding estimate. They told me after 2 hours that they received the payment and sent me the revised binding estimate reflecting a total deposit of $1,275 with the pickup volume of 500 cubic feet. On the day before the move, they called me saying that U.S. Logistics will come on 08/13/22 to pick up my belongings between 11am and 2pm PDT. On 08/13/22, I paid the pickup payment of $550.63 to ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ which was half of the balance even before the movers called me just to ensure that ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ gets paid on time and the move doesn’t get affected, because ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ had lied to me that they received the third deposit payment of $200.00 late from Wells Fargo. Thus, the total payment I made so far was $1,825.63. On 08/13/22, the driver of U.S. Logistics truck showed up late at 2:50 pm. After he reviewed my belongings, he told me that my estimate was only 300 cubic ft, to which I told him that it was revised to 500 cubic ft. and gave him a copy of the updated binding estimate that was signed by me. After that, he started loading my belongings along with others. After loading about 90 cubic feet, which was one lane of the truck of length 1.5 ft with the height being 10 ft and width being 6 ft (1.5x10x6=90 cubic ft), the driver called me to the truck and asked me to talk to his manager whose name was Benjamin Moore. Benjamin Moore of U.S. Logistics told me that 500 cubic ft was already loaded and if I wanted to load all my belongings and have them moved, the total price will be $5,300.00. I tried to call multiple people at ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ about this fraud that they and U.S Logistics did to me by deliberately low-balling an estimate and later asking for more money, but nobody picked up and I left multiple voice messages. When I was trying to argue with Benjamin Moore of U.S. Logistics asking him to justify how come it became 500 ft.³ when the height of the truck is 10 feet, width 6 feet and one lane that was filled with my stuff was 1.5 feet, he was not giving me any justification but instead was telling me that if I want to take my entire stuff to the destination, it will be a total of $5,300.00. The cubic feet volume of my stuff that was occupied in the truck was 10×6×1.5, which is equal to 90 ft.³. He asked me to pay $600 to him to take the existing stuff in the truck to my destination. When I asked him to give me his email address to send proof that I already paid All American Relocation and Storage $550.63 on 08/13/22 for pickup that didn’t even leave a balance of $600 anymore, he was not willing to provide that. He was reluctant to even call ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ to know about the pickup amount of $550.63 that I paid ‘All American Relocation and Storage’ on that day. I told him that I am not going to pay him anything because all the payment for the pickup was already done. After that, he asked his movers to leave. The movers threw my stuff in the apartment complex driveway and left the site. It took a long time for me to take back my stuff that they left in the apartment complex driveway to my apartment. Because of all this fraud, I had to hire people and pay them to move the couch back to my apartment, then buy a hand truck to get other stuff of mine back in my apartment. A cabinet was still left outside my apartment sitting in the parking space behind my car. I had to cancel my mother's flight ticket, then cancel my flight ticket, car shipping and other things that were dependent on the move out of my belongings. If U.S. Logistics was not willing to move in the amount that was agreed upon of $2,376.25 by ‘All American Relocation and Storage’, why did their movers start moving my belongings into the truck in the first place? They could have just canceled the agreement and left. Benjamin Moore's intention was clear to move some stuff and then raise the price thinking that I won't back out once some of my stuff is already in the truck. He could have played more games with me with no agreement like he could have added another 100 cu. ft. then raised the quote to $7,000, added another 100 cu. ft. then raised the quote to $9,000 and so on endlessly. He also told me that if I cancel, I would need to pay $1,500 to U.S. Logistics for the cancelation to have his movers move my loaded stuff back in my apartment. This is the reason why Benjamin Moore moved a part of my goods in the truck to try to get cancelation charge of $1,500 or the full move price of $5,300 either way. It’s clear about Benjamin Betancourt's games of giving a low estimate earlier to make the customer agree to it, later suck huge amounts in non-refundable deposits and then ruin the move of the customer on the day of the move. I wrote them multiple emails asking for a refund, but they never responded. After calling them, they said that they cannot refund me $1,825.63 that I paid saying that it was non-refundable. Since they were not providing me a refund, I told them that I was fine with the total price of $5,300 to be paid to a second truck after having the amount paid of $1,825.63 so far attributed to the move to avoid losing my $1,825.63, but there should be a written agreement with the trucking company of this total price of $5,300 after reviewing the volume of my belongings which should not change later, to which they refused to send a second truck and also mentioned that the amount of $1,825.63 that I paid so far will not get refunded to me. Because of this sheer fraud, I made a moving fraud complaint with Complaint ID: 100208242, but that organization doesn’t help in any way (I don’t know what is the use of filing a complaint then) and I lost my $1,825.63 plus underwent torture in bringing my belongings thrown by US Logistics on my apartment driveway back in my apartment, canceling my travel plans, etc. A severe, legal action against ‘All American Relocation and Storage’, ‘U.S. Logistics’ with managers in these companies being ‘Benjamin Betancourt’, ‘Benjamin Moore’ respectively should be taken to make them pay back the money that they unethically loot from people without providing service to them. By law, ‘Benjamin Betancourt’, ‘Benjamin Moore’ should be imposed severe monetary penalties, have their companies ‘All American Relocation and Storage’, ‘U.S. Logistics’ shut down for operating fraudulently and they sent to jail for a lifetime for cheating customers and looting their money.

All American is the absolute best. They managed to fully organize my move on very short notice. The driver and movers were friendly, quick, and efficient (they managed to get everything out of my 1 bedroom apartment in under 2 hours). They were great when it came to taking apart large furniture and putting it back together at the new place. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone!

I used All American Relocation to move from South Florida to Central Florida. On my moving day, Victor showed up, (my moving coordinator) to make sure his team had everything under control and left me in the very capable hands of Max and two other movers. I had them pack up everything for me and although I am still unpacking boxes, everything I've unpacked so far was very safely wrapped and padded with nothing broken. I will definitely use All American for my next move and would definitely recommend them for anyone else.
