The owner is deceiving has an aggressive, and impaired demeanor He tried to charge me for 3 packers when we had 2 He forgot about my deposit of 160 and wouldn’t have taken it off of my balance He forgot to pack many items He packed many items I specifically asked him not to do it would use up more materials He was very professional and on time when we met for a quote but after paying the deposit and 400 for materials he rescheduled drop off 8 different times and days then was late the day he did finally show up He rescheduled my packing time from 0800 to, 1200 without telling me He instructed me to leave empty suitcases and containers to be used first as they promised many times to buy back all of the material they didn’t use That did not happen we paid full 400 for materials we did not need Cheap paintings were even wrapped in large cardboard I asked for zero wardrobe boxes because clothes were not to be packed but I got 3 wardrobe boxes which I paid for and my clothes were packed. Two of those boxes were not even used. Generally 30$ a piece btw Worst of all I was yelled at for ten minutes while he paced angrily in my house in front of my boyfriend before hanging up on me as I reminded him of my deposit, 2 packers (which one was his juvenile son) and telling him that he was supposed to buy back the materials which he AGGRESSIVELY refused. Uhaul has 140$/ hour for two packers and you get what you pay for. It was apparent after speaking with him and meeting him twice that he was impaired especially after the pacing and nearly falling down my stairs. I can only say, what was packed, was packed well. We were literally afraid to leave the house unoccupied afterwards after he stormed out due to his loud verbal altercation with us. Expect a quote much lower than what you will be paying.
