I hired this company in March to move my stuff from Chicago to Seattle. The guy on the phone was so nice so I end up paying them the advance. But soon I realized I made a disaster by hiring them so I canceled the order immediately. After chasing them for at least a day I got an email confirmation from them that I should get my refund in 5-10 business day. And guess what it's been more than 5 months and I am still waiting for my refund. I also complained to BBB and FMCSA but again no help. So finally I have decided to sue them. Please stay away from these scammers. Spend more money but that way you would be sure that your goods will be delivered. The comments you are seeing below with 5 stars are all paid or posted by their own team. check their raiting on BBB. I hope this review would help many saving their hard earned money.
FAKE company they will take money and they will not show up again , they will drag like anything so that you disconnect from them, i am waiting for them last 3 months to pick up ., if any one interested i would like to take legal action on this company. This company's sales pitch is a scam. The sales rep will tell you a specific pickup date and dropoff date, then when the move comes - they will tell you that there is a 5 day window for pickup. This not only contradicts what the sales rep will tell you, but also makes it extremely difficult to schedule a move if your storage company requires an appointment for pickup. I called customer service numerous times and left voicemails and never received any call back. I finally got in touch on the day of the move and was told that the movers were not coming that day. To which I said I would like to cancel and receive a refund for the deposit I put down and was denied that. False or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices under the Competition Act is actually illegal in the U.S. and while i would like to not take legal action, it is clear that this company does not comply to the law either.
They will SCAM YOU! They are not movers. They take your deposit and call movers who show up and charge you whatever they want. Move Smart quoted 8900 and the movers wanted 20,000. It's almost 30 plus days and I had to hire my own mover.
My experience: Move Smart brokered my move with Sirius Van Lines. They picked up June 28, 2021. Now neither one responds my calls or emails. I believe I have been scammed and won't see my belongings again.
