Golan’s Moving & Storage was founded in 1990 in Skokie, Illinois. When they started they has one truck, four movers and a good friend that was running the office. They focus on making moving easy for their customers. The company grew because customers began referring friends and family members to them. They started out as just a local moving company. It wasn’t long before they expanded to out of state moves, all the way to even internationally.
Aside from long distance and international relocation, they also do commercial and industrial moves. They have foreman with experience and teams who understand the complexities of moving modern offices – from disassembling office furniture, wall panels, file cabinets and more, to expertly handling delicate computer hardware and critical office equipment. Their packing teams can prepare your offices for rapid redeployment. Golan’s Moving & Storage also has the option to store your items in a climate controlled warehouse upon request. The full packing move includes disassembly, assembly, padding and plastic wrapping all furniture for safe transport. Full packing can be extremely beneficial is you have not moved or packed in the past. It is important that each box gets the care necessary to protect all items. The last thing that anyone wants is to receive a delivery, after a long and stressful move, and have broken items in the boxes they packed. This is not the first time I've used Golan's Moving and Storage, but the second time. I have a really busy work schedule, and both last time in this time they've been able to work around it to accommodate me. I had a fellow employee use a different company that works the same hours as I do they're moved was a nightmare, mine was not at all. They went out of your way to help me as much as possible and I sincerely appreciate all the hard work they did. Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and kind. I could tell that they wanted to work there. Highly recommend this company.
I would definitely recommend using Golan’s Moving and Storage. I had such a great experience with them. They're super easy to use, I had to 3 moving guys come to my house the day before my move and wrap and pack everything that I had asked them for. They also included the wrapping of the big furniture within the price that I was given. and following day they arrived pretty early and got the truck loaded faster than I thought they would. Delivery came around quicker than I had expected, everything arrived in great shape. Would use again.
