We had a great experience with Direct moving group! The two movers Hugh and Randall showed up and were absolutely amazing. They worked quickly and efficiently while still taking great care with all of our belongings, especially the fragile items. Everything was packed securely and handled with so much attention. They were also incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help with a few extra things that weren’t even on the original list at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. Moving can be stressful, but they made the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend!
I was moving my art studio to a new location, and I have a lot of big canvases that do not fit in regular boxes. The movers brought special materials to wrap them up. William asked me which pieces were most valuable and made sure those went in the truck last so they would come out first. They also moved my heavy pottery wheel and all my clay supplies. Nothing got damaged, and everything arrived in the same condition.

They handled a very challenging move with professionalism and care, including difficult parking, a long carry, and Chicago traffic. Despite all of that, they worked efficiently, stayed positive, and never once complained. They were careful with our belongings, communicated clearly throughout the day, and made what could have been a very stressful move feel smooth and manageable. Our initial contact and follow-up customer service experience were excellent—very professional and courteous throughout the process. The final cost came in a bit higher than the original estimate, but the reasons were clearly outlined in the contract, and we understand the adjustment. Communication with the delivery driver was good, and the real-time tracking feature was especially helpful in keeping us informed about the delivery status.
