Fresh Start Relocation

This company begs for your business when you file a change of address with the post office. No matter what lie the sales rep tells you about a quick delivery, they have up to 30 business days to deliver. The average time is 3 weeks until you get your stuff. We were promised a 5-7 business day delivery since they have trucks on the road every day. The pick up was prompt so I was hopeful. The sales person made every excuse why my items were taking longer than 7 days. Then they stopped answering my calls. Our pick up was on Nov 15, and a Nov 16 day we could accept our items. It's now December 14 and we just got our items: some contents smashed and broken. When you do get your stuff, the items have been moved multiple times so boxes are smashed or cracked and content is broken. Delivery: The lies from the sales/customer service ladies about the bogus delivery date aside, the delivery was a disaster. The driver was confrontational in the beginning but when he dropped our boxes and they smashed, he was nicer. The delivery driver would not come through our gate - it’s 14’8” wide- too tight of a turn he said - (note: our other moving company had no problem).What a crock. The delivery driver requires that you sign papers prior to unloading despite the forms indicate a warning not to do this. (Again, this is not a professional tactic.) Luckily we have a trailer so we had to help load from the street. The delivery guy handed us the boxes from his truck. While unloading from the moving truck, the delivery guy dropped 5 boxes inside the truck, right in front of us! Content spilled everywhere and broke. I had my cell phone and took pictures documenting the spill inside the moving truck, and I took pictures of the smashed moving boxes and broken plastic moving bins and content in the truck. In sum, I thought I would support a local business so I gave them a chance. The reviews are mixed but when you look at the positive reviews they are from one time reviewers who are friends or work for the company (debi, phyllis ann). The negative reviews are from actual customers and the stories are all the same. The company removes your reviews. You will need to file a complaint with the FMCSA. This company gives you a low estimate and pile on charges, or they will add some additional charges such as stairs, need to repack and rewrap contents and charge for moving tape. It’s borderline fraud and a hostage move. Beware and stay away from Fresh Start relocation. Their Pembroke Pines address is a storage unit. Their company is in Ft Lauderdale, actually. Total scam.

I had to write to let people know that the reviews above must’ve been from a different company. Fresh Start Relocation, located in Florida, It’s a group of people who are certainly going to take advantage of every situation they can. They did a bait and switch with me and for other customers who wrote to me to say they were given a quote and It nearly doubled on the day that they were scheduled to move. Although they had people in my area to come out and provide an estimate. They chose instead to wait until the last minute bring someone in. suddenly my $2200 estimate became a $5200 estimate. Facts is facts truth is truth - they seems unfamiliar with both concepts. they lied when they were reported to the Better Business Bureau, I wouldn’t expect anything else from them. It was a very simple fix for me, I found another Mover almost immediately who moved me for less than their original price. So all I wanted wasmy deposit refunded, which they refused. I was asked for $700 for deposit told him I’d give them 400 which they said was just fine. Kind of makes you wonder doesn’t it. Do not use this company it’s best that they go out of business. There’s lots of options and we need to put those who will cheat out of business.

Fresh start did an awesome job on my move. They were by far the most efficient, hardworking, and courteous guys . All my furniture arrived completely unscathed. They didn't waste any time and got to work right away. My parents are going to move shortly and I won't think twice to call them!

This is the very first time where the overall moving experience was very easy and simple. The movers was awesome - very professional and cool. Most of my furniture was located up a steep staircase, yet the movers showed care and expertise in their handling of my items. I would recommend this company because they made my moving experience extremely easy and damage free. Thanks again to Lior and his team!

I called Fresh start relocation because my uncle used them in the past and was very satisfied. The crew was great. They were efficient, friendly and hardworking. They delivered all our belongings safe and sound. Kept communication perfect during the whole move process. Appreciate costumer service who was there to answer all my questions and update me on any changes.
