The two owners of this company reached out to me for a mistake an employee made while booking my trip. They both explained everything to me and gave me an opportunity to decide whether I wanted to continue with their service. I did put down a deposit and I was refunded all of my money when I chose not to use them. The owners were upfront as to what services they would provide. I want to thank you both for your honesty and calling me personally. I feel that they are a fair company and the owners are not afraid to talk with the customer. The move has been delivered as of the date mentioned. Appreciate the whole team who supported me at each stage and took care of the process efficiently. Also, the operations team whom I didn’t meet, Thank you All! All of the members promptly responded even though it was off hours for them. All packing which we made was as it is and was in good shape.
I was quoted a price of $2700. I took pictures of the stuff I wanted to move so they could see about how much space it would take up. When the moving truck got there, they said it would be about $4800 to move what I had. This company is a total scam. They will quote the price you want just to get their broker fee. They don't tell you the price could go up when the mover sees the stuff. I can understand a price difference of maybe $500, but to be off by $2000 is irresponsible and deceitful. I learned the hard way that you do not want to go through a broker. Hire directly from the moving company. But, if you want to get s******, hire Brightside Moving Group. They don't care at all if you get stuck paying an extra $2000 on the spot and will tell you it's a really good deal. A really good deal would be an accurate estimate so I'm not stuck trying to find an extra $2000 without any notice and the movers aren't stuck moving everyone's stuff for free. Do yourself a favor and walk away from Brightside Moving Group LLC.
