The movers broke my late father's tables and refused to abide by their refund policy. On Oct 18th, movers accidentally broke sentimental marble tables from my father who has passed away. My husband called them multiple times and filled out their claim form multiple times. Every time he called it sounded like a teenager answered the phone. They avoided us with comments about not knowing what to do, they will get back to us, and after the 30 day limit, they decided to contact us to inform us that we did not properly submit the claim and the time limit had passed. I asked if I could please speak with the owner, and I was given an incorrect email for Cherokee movers. I found the owner, Logan Bell’s, email address online and asked him to work with us. We were not seeking a replacement or any significant amount of money. All we wanted was for help covering repair coats. Because their policy is to cover cents per pound and large pieces of marble were broken, we believe this is why they have lied to us and refuse to work with us. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I do not expect to hear back. The only reason I’m leaving this review is because I was in tears when my father's tables broke and we have received nothing but unprofessional responses. I can say the teenagers who helped us move were truly sorry they broke the tables and tried to refuse our tip for them, but we are not upset at them. We were not upset at them when the owner had the teenagers answer the phone instead of talking to us himself like an adult. We are upset at the business owner. I would never recommend his company
