AMEX Moving & Storage

If I could give zero stars I would DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I REPEAT DO NOT USE AMEX MOVING AND STORAGE THEY ARE CORRUPT TO THE CORE !!! They are a bait and switch broker not a mover They sell you on one point of contact and then bam once they have your credit card they do not honor there binding agreement. They show up 1.5 days late , they are short 2.5 drivers as one arrived at our home limping and not able to work !!!! We were promised a semi or equivalent for a full service move. Well they charged a full service price for zero in return other than hassle and yes wait until you hear this we still don’t have our things from April 1, 2026 and today is September 18 !!!! Insane right. ??? Let me back it up and tell you how it all went down just so you don’t fall for their lies and scams. First they get to our home 1.5 days late after knowing our home closed on 3/31 at midnight. Yes we did miss this deadline because of them, but the carnage doesn’t stop there. They arrive and start profiling our home and calling their operations manager whom is not pleasant in the least and she knows it ! Her employees are terrified of her. They call her in Spanish saying “mucho money “ and sending her photos of our home. Thank God for iPhone translate !!!! Due to their tardiness we had to pack everything ourselves and that needed to come right off the cost. She flew off the handle and freaked out trying to jack the price and throwing threats. I wanted them to leave but she said they would complete the job and she would handle the price adjustments. Well they laid on the floors , played on their phones and kept heating food in the microwaves , did less than zero and we continued to do their job by packing and loading Why have a mover if this is the case. They demanded $4k in cash when we were a credit card payment!!contracter claimed the one mover needed to be on another site and another move was already in the truck taking up our space DO NOT USE !! They will now pay people to write “GLOWING” Reviews to “HIDE”the actual real reviews. I did track down many of the “reviewers” and found it shocking each person only reviews moving companies and uses different profile pictures and moves every week !!!!!! Wow !!!! We should have done our homework before hiring this CORRUPT COMPANY and Our family will make sure they stop doing this to anyone else. DO NOT USE !!!!

The main worry I had was to move a big glass dining table. The crew covered it with a few layers of protective material and transported it with great care. They also saved the chairs and cabinets. All made it home safe and the team handled table's delivery with care.

We hadn't been to our storage unit in years, and we moved to it! This company's movers took everything, loaded what we needed and helped us dispose of the trash. What would've been a headache became an easy clean-up for them!

I'm typically super stressed out during a move, but that didn't happen this time. The moving company showed up on time, prepared the moving boxes and started packing right away. They were responsive to our queries and provided us with updates throughout the process. When all was said and done, I was truly happy with how successful the day was.

This company has saved my life! They were very patient, flexible and understanding with my renters, who were helping with last minute problems I was having with my apartment. They even gave me temporary keys to store my belongings until I got the keys. Without them, I don't think that I could have managed it!
