The job was to unload a truck into a loft apartment. The job was to take 2 hours. They took 4. They sat around, they complained that I was telling them where I wanted the furniture placed, they repeatedly tried to claim they couldn't finish the job--to which I told them, then you won't get paid. They damaged my property, they took a part my furniture and did not put it back together and I just found multiple boxes dumped on the side of the building. I thought they stole my property but I couldn't prove it. Nope they just dumped my property on the side of the building. I could have refused payment at the time, but frankly I just wanted them out of my home. Their boss was just as rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Do not book these movers for anything as they are incompetent, lazy and will damage or destroy your property.
