My experience with Handle with Care Moving and Storage was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. We paid thousands of dollars to move our belongings from Connecticut to Florida, only to have multiple items damaged, broken, and even lost during the process. On top of the damage, the company attempted to tack on additional unexpected fees at delivery, which felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. The worst part has been what happened afterward. We filed a damage claim, but both the insurance company and I have been completely unable to get in contact with anyone at Handle with Care Moving and Storage. Every phone number, email, and contact method we could find has either gone unanswered or led nowhere. It feels like the company simply disappeared once they got paid. We are now approaching the 180-day deadline for the claim process, and because the company refuses to respond, it appears our only remaining option is filing a complaint with a government consumer agency — which still does nothing to recover the money we lost or replace the damaged property. This has been one of the most frustrating and stressful customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to think twice before trusting them with their belongings.
The 5 star reviews are FAKE! They damaged & lost thousands of dollars worth of my belongings. Then the insurance claim only paid out $100. A complete scam!
THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE! Handle with Care movers are scammers! I hired a moving company and 2guys came. “Lou” and his helper loaded the furniture once loaded they began to ask for money. They told a story of how the moving company doesn't pay them and how he's been on the road 90+ days and he needs money. Then he kept saying he can take me to an ATM to get them money. When I continued to say No, he dropped his wallet I saw numerous debit cards with different names and IDs. Police were called Grand Theft charges have been pressed. The names they use are fake when they arrive. They will STEAL your belongings and extort you for money. The Real names are Owner:Moron “Eli” Elud Hazut Driver: Chatari Mason Phone person unknown real name but uses “Dee or Monique”! Please BEWARE! If you have used Handle with Care and scammed call Pinellas County Sheriff Office or in Ga call Dekalb County police “Tucker precint” These people have to be stopped!
They arrived on time, communicated with us every step of the way and then when we were looking to not have enough space with the only truck we ordered, Tom got another truck to help us out with a 2 day notice. Worth every penny! Very well priced, professional, organized and prompt. We recommend to anyone and will use them for their services in the future!!!
