I’m actually kinda shocked at how unprofessional this guy carlton is, he literally just stole money from me. I paid him a $200 “deposit” and when the movers showed up the guy in charge mentioned he’s been doing this 17yrs and tells me about his company etc, I was confused as to the “deposit” I paid and asked if he’s was getting part of that as it was almost half of the amount agreed upon previously. The guy actually moving me says he was hired by carlton and never heard about that money or was never told about the prices I was quoted. When calling him on speakerphone with the actual mover, he denied everything and said “everything is good, we’re all good” ??? The actual mover was just being nice and wanted to end the call, so I did. carlton tried calling me and the texted me something like “I was never going to do this job by myself” like that was even close to the point. 15 or so minutes later he text me again “I’m at the storage unit where are you guys?” not even realizing the actual movers had only been at my apartment for less than 30 minutes. stay clear away from this man and any business he might pretend to operate.
