I have done many moves and have hired my share of movers and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Chris was incredibly unprofessional and was clearly moving slowly to run up the time. It took the full 4 hours (for a load and unload) I booked to move a two bedroom apartment and they weren't able to complete the job. They poorly packed the truck, so they weren't able to fit all of our items in the truck. Despite saying they would prioritize our larger items (of which we only had a few pieces), they did not and we were still left with a queen bed and twin daybed at the end of the time. I felt incredibly uncomfortable about Chris's attitude when I asked (politely) how long he thought it would take to complete the job because this was not a typical experience for me, he became aggressive, hostile, and raised his voice saying, "Are you saying we're moving too slowly?" and was extremely defensive. I was so uncomfortable and felt unsafe due to his behavior, so I released the funds to them when the time was up, but I regret letting them so blatantly take advantage of the time. For example, I saw Chris maybe one time in the first hour they were working, while his partner moved our things--and he was moving stackable crates so I know it certainly did not take an hour to load those in the truck. After I confronted them, I could tell they were moving even slower and I saw my items sitting in the hallways as I went down there and he and his partner were both just standing by the truck. Given the other review, this is clearly a pattern and a way to get more money doing less work. Avoid at all costs!!
DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!! We hired Just Send It through U-Haul to help move me and my boyfriends things and furniture from our 1 bed 1 bath appt in Aurora to our new apartment in Green Valley Ranch. They went deliberately slow, and we overheard them discussing going slower to charge us more time. When I respectfully confronted them about it, they said I was rude, and said they would not finish the job… all the while saying they would be paid in full regardless. Unfortunately, it just gets worse from there. Please safe yourself the emotional turmoil and hire different movers. I would not wish our experience on anyone.
