DO NOT USE When I was first contacted b them I told them I was very hesitant as several years ago I was taken advantage of by a similar type of company. I was assured they do not operate that way, that the price would be the price. I was doing everything I could to be sure there would be no surprises. When I was trying to update my inventory I could not get on line, the system was down, the error said try in a few hours, I waited till next day, still no access, I called my representative, pushed to voice mail, I left a message, chatted with on line person, no results, called the main number, no results. chatted again and said cancel, called my representative, again pushed to voice mail, said cancel again. Called main number, said cancel. I hired another service. 2 days later, I get a call saying the whole system was down across the country. In the small print you cannot get your money back. That they sent me. Cost me $500 to learn this lesson. They do not care, once I canceled they were very rude, said things like "good luck with that" I did reverse the charges but they ended up[ with the money. DO NOT USE!
I had never moved across country before, so I decided to search for a moving company on google. I came across Move Smart's website and put my information in to request a quote. Peter called me within minutes and explained the process to me. He was polite the whole way through and explained in detail how much everything would cost and why. After he took my inventory he quoted me out and even offered free storage as my new place in California was not going to be ready yet. My only complaint was that I was told the movers would arrive at my door at 1 PM and they did not arrive until 2PM. I received a call from Chris in customer service at 1:15 politely informing me that they were running late. Besides that I had zero issues with Move Smart, the moving crew they sent were respectful and professional! Peter was very responsive the whole time leading up to my move and answered any question I had. I would use Move Smart again!

Then Daniel calls says he is owner, refused his fed tax #ID, refused his last name, refused to confirm full address of business. He started over talking and yelling at me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They Gaunteed a pick up of my things, I get an email the next day saying they were not going to be picking up my things. I call the sale person John King, can't get a hold of him by phone or email. I talk to another man and he says "I'm so sorry, I'll call you back in about an hour once I figure out what's going on" (no call back). The day of my supposed move date someone calls me to verify my inventory order. I call customer service and speak to Chris, he says he's going to call me back in just a few minutes after he figures out what it going on. 2 hours later I call back to be transferred to his voice-mail; I leave a message. So I call back again just to be transferred to another empty phone. I call back once again spoke with Peter who was also less than helpful. He transferred me to Chris's VM. At this point they are just dodging my calls. By the good graces I get Chris on the phone (my boyfriend called from his phone) I re-explain my situation, and all he has to say was "it was a miscommunication they aren't able to service your move." Which is all I wanted to know. Why would a 2 sentence reply be so hard? I have never in my life ever been treated like this. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, they have no manners, no work ethic and by far the most horrific customer service. This is not just about them being busy, this was pure laziness and inconsideration. I warn you, do not EVER use this company!!
