When I first call telling them all the item I had I was quoted 1381 then two days before my item were pick up I received another quote of 2500. My things were pick up 9/19/20 to be delivered on 9/25/20. When I arrived to my apartment I gave them a call and was told my items would start delivery on the first delivery date which was 9/25 today is 10/2 and still have received my thing. When I spoke with The supervisor they were really rude and once I ask for a discount for the misleading information upon hiring them they said nothing can’t be done an my stuff is in Maryland ,which is 2 hours away from Philadelphia. I will never hire this company ever again I just hope I receive all of my items.
After reading horrible reviews I decided to cancel within 24 hours. I called Dylan as well as sent an email and they refuse to refund my deposit. They keep disputing with my credit card company even though they know they've done absolutely no service to me. It was well before the 72 hour window. I've also called. No return call. Dylan texted me from 561-948-0813.
I had to move for work so i was looking for some quotes and came across the Move Smart website. Justin and Kevin where beyond helpful when setting my move up. They made it super easy to get this setup. Jenny, Jessica, and Chris in customer service made went above and beyond to help, wether it was getting updates on delivery or changing the delivery address. The moving company they set me up with ,Pro tri, delivered my stuff a lot quicker then I had expected. When they came to pick me up I had got rid of somethings last minute and found somethings I totally forgot about when doing my inventory. I ended up needing to more space then anticipated, they made it super easy to adjust the inventory upon pickup, they even helped cover some of the expense of packing i didn't realize I would need. Even with that being said I was still a few thousand dollars under other quotes I received. With it being in the middle of the summer when a lot of college kids are moving and in the middle of a global pandemic I was expecting it to take about a month to get delivery I got delivered within 2 1/2 weeks!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend. I don’t know if these bad reviews are for the right Move Smart but I had the complete and total opposite. I don’t know if they are confusing it them with the other move smart that comes up when you google move smart but I don’t see what they are complaining about. I told the team at Move Smart that I would plaster reviews if it went good or bad and I’m gonna do just that.
Never have had such. Horrible experience. I will never advise anyone to go through a broker to find a moving company. The subcontractor company they hired R & R Moving & Storage Company was totally unprofessional, didn’t know we hired them to pack and pick up. We then had to pay thousands more. They then didn’t deliver until 10 days later. When they called to say they had arrived and I went to the destination the guys made me wait more time because they went to Home Depot. This is terrible!!! $1329 deposit for Move Smart brokers and $3700 R&R Moving and Storage Co.
This is one of the worst companies to trust with your stuff. Long story short. I was originally told to pay them $800 to hold my spot and there rest would be decided upon arrival. Then we called them back to tell them we had more than originally planned and Jack told us that he would charge us $3,900 but if I paid $2,000 on the phone he would take $200 off the price, so I paid him on the phone expecting to only have to pay the other $1,000 at time of delivery. Then when the moving truck showed up he said it was going to be $8,000, because of the time difference I couldn't get a hold of Jack to work it out so since they already had my money I decided to let the moving company take it. When I tried to talk to Jack he was never available and gave me the run around for 3 months on trying to fix it and they ended up saying there was nothing they could do. I would never recommend them and strongly suggest no one ever use this company.
