This company is a broker and send unprofessional, unreliable movers to scam you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VINTAGE AN LINES! They gave me an estimate of $2100 and when Rocky with Pioneer Moving showed up, he quoted $4500 and demanded $3000 cash up front. Now I've been waiting for my stuff since Pioneer picked it up Aug. 10 and every time I call I get a different answer. Will I ever get my stuff and if I do, what condition will it be in?? This company is irresponsible, unprofessional, and a rip-off. Vintage is NOT A GOOD CHOICE.

This company is a complete scam. They moved my pick up and drop off date around numerous times. We couldn’t get in contact with anyone and didn’t know they’d be arriving till they literally showed up. Then when they did arrive to pick my things up, they charged us an extra $100 for the fact that there was an elevator which really wasn’t that big of a deal, but sort of annoying. The movers weren’t friendly and weren’t careful with any of my stuff. They changed the delivery date approximately 5 times and for about a week nobody could tell me where my stuff was. I had taken off a week of work to get my things situated, and then had to take off an additional three days because they were so late. When the delivery finally happened, we realized my $300 espresso machine was completely missing, a box labeled tools that had a $100 rug and some sentimental items as well as all our tools was missing too, as well as part of a table. I’ve been trying to reach the company to try and get my boxes back for about a month now, and no attempt to return my items or refund me has been made. In fact, when I finally got to a customer service person they said they’d email me the claims form and never did, and when I called back nobody answered. This company is the absolute worst and you couldn’t pay me to work with them again.

Vintage Van Lines Review Let me start with they are a broker only, they move nothing, they just put your ‘move’ out to bid etc. I knew this a little too late to change it. The actual moving company that was hired will be dealt with separately. There is a legitimate function in what they do, so I am not upset with the broker aspect as they serve a purpose. First, they did not have the ‘amount’ of items correct through a facetime walkthrough. This I could understand and I called them and added things they missed. Books, I have lots of them and they had 2 boxes. I called and corrected this and told them it was about ¾ of a semi load. I have moved a lot, so I have an idea of what it would take. I have to do bids, and even with the changes that I made they were still way too low. They use a ‘cubic feet’ method and I have always been billed as a ‘total weight’ thing. This is part of the game they play, it is their business model. Underestimate, and then the moving company that is hired can deal with the actual customer the day they show up. The day of the move, the actual moving company said that there was more to move than their bid. This is by design I am convinced. You need to move 1000+ miles and you have a schedule to keep and you are stuck. In my case I could do nothing about it but pay the difference (1/3 higher). I will however give the actual moving company some slack as it ended up being about where I had said it would be, ¾ of a Semi load, which is what they came up with. This did not help my bid price one iota. Once you give Vintage your deposit, they are done. They knew the date and yet the moving company was 2 days late getting there to pack and had to make it two days as the truck was too small because they were told it was a smaller load. I will deal with my interactions with this company (US Best Movers) in a later review on their review site. This is not completed yet, I have my items but there was damage and I want to see how they deal with this. For now, Vintage Van lines, no matter how you slice it, legal or not is not a company I would not recommend and in all honesty cannot see how they can have such good reviews (the reason we chose them). Once locked in, I did more digging and realized I could be in deep trouble but time was not on my side, so I had to go with it. I have used in the past United, Allied, North American, & Atlas Van lines. Sure there were small issues with them but they pale in comparison to what Vintage Van Lines did. I have to this point never filed a claim to a moving company, so that gives one an idea of how bad this experience was. I have moved large distances 5 times now and this was by far the worst experience I have had. Moving is stressful and in this case it was quick so I did not have time to get proper vetting. So if you are reading this and considering using them, I would pass. The reviews have to be manipulated on the standard google searches but it is a bad sign that the first thing to pop up is the BBB site. Heed the warnings you read. Do they have honest good reviews? I cannot say, but mine sure is not one of them. They will tell you what you want to hear but once that deposit is made, all bets are off. If you have the time, read through all of the reviews and take heed of the consistent things you read in the bad ones. That is a clue to what really happens. In the end, they are only a broker that gets paid to find a moving company, nothing more. Expect no attempt at trying to make a loyal customer. It is not in their business model, of this I can assure you. They will not even return phone calls from the salesperson that setup your job. You are given another number and all you get is lip service at that point. I stopped dealing with them the day the actual movers came to pack and load my house. I was in a bind and I knew it. In the future, I will deal with the national movers. They worry about their reputation, Vintage Van Line obviously does not.

There is no zero star rating unfortunately, you will never receive your belongings. Reach out to me for the class action suit I'm pursuing. Olivia Williams: Supervisor of VVL Literally the worst company I've ever dealt with. I hired VVL to move my belongings from Virginia to Texas. The pickup date was July 31 and they had brokered the move to 11Even Movers. The movers called me maybe 10 minutes before they showed up and were pretty unprofessional (wearing flip flops/didn't have a payment system set up). The movers and vintage both promised me a 7 day turn-around and it has been over 60 days without my belongings. They have been horrible about communication. I've asked to even just get the location of my belongings to go pick them up myself and they can't provide anything. After two months of living without my belongings in a new city, I've contacted the police, a lawyer, emailed/called vintage daily (no help at all). I cannot advise anyone enough to not book with them. This is truly the worst company I've ever dealt with and I am currently seeking counseling for mental and physical health directly related to this "company". I cannot emphasize enough how horrible it's been to try and have a new start in a city and be scammed by a horrific company. I would encourage anyone else who has been scammed to reach out to me, I'll include your claim in the info I'm giving to my lawyer.

This is a truly awful company. DO NOT TRUST the positive reviews. The same things happened to me as other 1-start reviews: - Felt pressured to send money via Zelle - Move was outsourced to another company - The actual moving company was terrible (arrived at 5pm on 2nd day of move). Took an extra day to move, leading to expense of changed flights and stress on family - Price was increased on move day by about 25%, leaving us no choice but to pay - No communication post-move - Refused to provide updates - Refused to disclose location on belongings - Could not commit to a move-in date, which required arranging storage and a whole separate moving crew to ensure we had beds to sleep on - Generally, lied at most opportunities and cheated us out of thousands of dollars
