A COMPLETE SCAM…..Darren Palmer is a scammer. The entire broker company scamming.
I recently had a move from Kansas to Florida. The process of hiring movers is very stressful and I was told at sign up that they would talk to me through every step of the process. This all proved to be false. The rep ensured that he would be my contact and talk me through the whole thing and be there for any bump in the road. But when I called he always transferred me and never followed up past the sale. They contracted out my move and the price was a total estimate and did not even slightly match the final price of the move. I followed all instructions on how to pack and to buy TV boxes that cost way too much. My movers that came were from CITA and very nice and polite. They were efficient in packing and did the work fairly quickly. The process on waiting for my items was within the timeframe and Ashley at CITA was an amazing communicator and talked me through all the steps. However when my items were delivered so many items were broken and missing. My totes were completely smashed and clothing was falling out of the broken bottoms. My fragile boxes were also smashed. My metal crockpot bent! Air fryer smashed. End tables corners broken and scratched. 58 in smart tv shattered. The slats for my bed never made it and the lighting on my bed frame broken. Now my bed sits in the frame on the floor. I will attach pictures. I have filed a claim but felt like a review was also necessary. I am a single mother and a teacher so I am not a wealthy person and I made this move to better my life and my children's. The expectation was to pay extra and get my things where they needed to be with assembly and I am left with less than I started with and more money to spend to replace all the broken and missing items. This is a very unfortunate situation and made the move much more stressful when the purpose was to decrease the stress. I wish I could attach pictures of how my belongings arrived!! Smh! Total bait and switch! Do not hire
Do not do business with this company. All these positive reviews are fake. They are brokers!!! They take 1/3 of your payment and then they do nothing for you! Then they give the job to smaller carrier who will deliver your furniture 4 weeks late, don’t answer your calls, don’t reply VM and don’t give you an delivery ETA.
Worst experience I ever had. Lied from start to finish. Don't use for state to state move. THEY ARE BROKERS NOT A MOVING COMPANY> Wouldn't let me talk to the person I started with - which is the bigger lyer of all his name is Darren Palmer. My move was sold to a scammer, price tripled by the end of move. Damaged and missing furniture. Other people's things given to us. Not recommending this company for anything..
if I can give them negative 10 I would. Worst company EVER!!! First, they will never tell you that they are a BROKER, they will sell you reservation to any company that will take it and you will end up with problems. STAY AWAY from Darren Palmer he is a big layer, he will tell you bad things about other companies because he has nothing good to say about the company he is working for RUN RUN RUN as fast as you can
