Horrible company. Prof Move sent movers that showed up asking for $200 cash to move "heavy" equipment that was already on the manifest i was quoted, on the first floor nonetheless. They then asked for $400 cash before giving me a copy of the pickup contract. complete BS. It's now almost 6 weeks (their contract's 30 business days) since i got a call or update as to where my stuff is. I have called weekly if not more often and have been told that it'll be here next Thursday or Friday and should get a call 24-48 hours before. I havent received any calls.
No customer service, and when starting to discuss legal or insurance claims, i was told it wouldnt accelerate how fast i get my stuff anyway.
Most recently the number i got from a Rick goes directly to voicemail. Jobs, kitchen effects, personal gym equipment- all gone until i get an update or replaced by insurance.

We used Prof Move last week to move my car. We want to transport a vehicle from the Tucson, AZ town to the Redstone Arsenal, AL. It was an intro state move. From start to finish the entire process was painless and flawless. I was totally carefree and stress free. I love how Prof Move and their team us efficient. I love the services they provide me. The whole team was enormously responsive and helpful. The transport driver picked the car up from our home and delivered it on the day promised. Have nothing but praise for the amazing service and responsiveness of Prof Move. They are just the best movers in the town.

This company was very professional. The driver arrived on time to pick up the car. He drove for 18-19 hours and delivered the car early. They stayed in contact with us throughout the transport process. I would definitely use them again. And if you are thinking of using them to transport your vehicle, two words, do it. They are great. 5 stars.

All I need to say is they did not show up on both pickup days. I got a refund, got a truck and moved myself. It was a terrible experience and I hope this reveiw helps someone else avoid this!

The Prof Move guys were great. From the point of arrival to my place to make a quote and then the entire packing. They completely removed the pressure of move. Yet their levels were significantly higher also than I had expected. Definitely book these guys if you are looking for movers, they are quick and reasonably priced. You won't be sorry!

I had a fantastic experience with Prof Move! all of the guys were so friendly and managed to get everything on the truck in no time at all. All boxes/furniture were delivered undamaged and they made sure to avoid scuffing floors or walls in both old and new locations. Highly recommend.

Shipping FCL (Full Container Load) was the best way to achieve a great deal. We had no problem whatsoever with our stuff in a shared container until nothing was lost or damaged. And it didn't do anything. Communicating with management was great and we thought like we communicated well with them. There has been a lot of patience because it takes weeks, but that was all expressed to us prior to the transaction so that no negative surprises, all positive, came into play.

I am very disappointed in their service. I would never use them again. My house caught on fire and they were contracted to pack up our recoverable items and store them until it was time to move back home. Upon returning the items, several items have been damaged and broken and they will not take any liability for their actions. I have sent them numerous emails and pictures, and even the crew that dropped the items off took pictures and noticed damages, but the company will not reimburse us for the items they damaged.

Be very careful of using this company to transport your items. They will damage things and not even care.

I have never used this type of terrible organization. The whole staff is totally inconsiderate and you will be cheated and overpriced because of the salesmen are incompetent. Verified movers are without a doubt the more awful. They appeared late, stacked a portion of our having a place. They damaged numerous things and put everything on the wet floor. The whole experience felt like a scam. Do not recommend them.

Hiring movers is big business. We were afraid that our possessions will be steeled or harmed. But we've booked this company recently and we're shocked by the work quality. They make sure it's all loaded and covered. They make sure the packaging is sturdy enough to avoid damage of any kind.

From my experience, the worst company to exist. Giving them 1 star is the only way to state my frustration. They apparently subcontract to duds. 2 days in a row, they have stood us up and left me with all my belongings stuck in the house and garage. The cleaning crew cannot access areas to clean and carpet cleaners cannot access their areas either. I would like to know if they recoup all cleaning expenses for a half assed cleaning job due to their incompetence and provide us with what our full deposit should have been. Not the cleaning service providers responsibility to move boxes to clean baseboards.

The Prof Move minimized my cost for shifting by guiding me right way. They have a good customer service and quality of work in shifting. Terrible experience with this company.

We had a lot of moves with the military over the last 14 years but this one was by far the worst.

Our household goods were placed into temporary storage at their warehouse. We have lost 8 K worth of inventory. From furniture to garment boxes and mic. items. It simply disappeared.
I was reassured it must have been a missing crate which they tried to recover but all that was found were 2 Rubbermaid plastic totes.

When they delivered the totes, we discovered that they had stolen electronics out of one.
Their dispatch and warehouse department is terrible. No one feels responsible!! They promise to call you back and never do.

    Avoid, avoid avoid!!!!

The way they delivered our items was highly unprofessional. Nothing was wrapped in moving blankets. Everything was just thrown on the truck. Our leather couch was slid in standing up (on the arm rest) which resulted in a lot of rips and holes. Furniture was heavily scratched and damaged as if they have dragged it instead of carrying it. Def. no quality service provided here!

They told me lie after lie after lie. Everything was damaged. They told me our belongings would be picked up and go straight to our new home. Nope. 24 days later and some of our stuff being transferred we received 75% of our belongings. Guys unloading our stuff was supposed to be “white glove”. Smoking pot and throwing trash on my driveway is hardly “white glove”. These people are trash. Please if this helps just one person not go through what my family and I went through this review is a success. They do not return calls and Danny McKinney is a lying clown as well. I fear to move. I hate relocation. However, it was time for a new home. Good Google reviews have these movers on top of the list and I was told about them by one of my friends. I hired them, therefore. While inexpensive, they offered a great service to customers. There was no problem and the move went perfectly. All the movements, pacing, wrapping, unwrapping, etc. was excellent. They broke nothing and nothing was wrong. This service, I'm grateful.

they have a lot of fake reviews. They didn't pick our stuff on time, they broke things, delivered EXTREMELY LATE, beyond the 30days on the contract with no explanation. Price went from $2100 to $4500 with no explanation.
Report them to the BBB, FMCSA, even if nothing can't be done. A complain is better than nothing.

AWFUL SERVICE, Moved from Ga to Texas. We sent photos of everything in home before we got a quote. They brought a truck that was to small and Said they would have to charge double to bring another truck. We had to leave about $3000.00 worth of stuff behind. Charged us $3000 to $4000.00 more than our estimate. Took 21 days to get our stuff. We had stuff broken but never filed anything with insurance because it was not worth dealing with this company anymore. We were told they set they put beds etc. back together at new home. All they did was unload the truck and leave!!!! You will regret using this company!!!!!

I called and got a sales quote from Owen Wilson, a sales agent, and gave him an itemized list of furniture (less than a roomful) that needed to be picked up (2 couches, a table, 6 chairs, a buffet table and 4 mattresses) which was quoted as fitting within 500 cubic feet with enough extra space to fit whatever miscellaneous items needed to be packed without any additional fees. I was assured that on the day of the move, the driver would call in the morning to give an ETA and would arrive by noon. On the day of the move, I received no such call from the driver. I called the Customer Service line several times with no answer/response from the company. I threatened to cancel my move and immediately received a response at 1 in the afternoon. The driver finally called at 1:30pm and gave an ETA of 4:30pm in the evening. Once the moving truck arrived and loaded my furniture into the truck, the driver estimated an overage of 130 cubic footage and charged me an additional $1300 more than what I was initially contracted to pay. While the sales agent promised that I should receive my furniture the following day after pickup, the driver told me he wouldn’t arrive to my new home until two days later. After several hours of disputing the fees with Katie Tracy Johnson, the sole customer agent in the customer service department, she finally transferred me to Rick Carson, the District Manager. Rick assured me that he would allow the furniture to be dropped off to my new home without any issue and I would be allowed to pay the initial agreed upon amount while the new amount under dispute was being reviewed. He then called back to say “his hands were tied” and I would be forced to pay the full additional $1300 overage or they would hold my furniture hostage. After threatening to sue the company (which I still plan to do), I agree to have my company pay the extra $1300 via wire. Rick tells me he just needs the confirmation number to have my furniture released (the driver was scheduled to drop off my furniture within the next few hours). I provide Katie/Tracy (she goes by both names) the confirmation number, I call back to confirm receipt and can reach no one for several hours. The driver calls me and tells me the customer service department told him that he can’t drop off my furniture until “the Prof Move bank account has received the funds”, so he is dropping my furniture off to a warehouse “until the funds have cleared” (this is two days before Thanksgiving). No thanks to this company, they are complete scam artists and my company will not and no one I know will be using this company ever again! I got scammed out of $1300. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

The are rude and will demand 100% payment before delivery. Means you can't check your inventory but make payment in advance. Also, sales guys will fake the quote and when the movers show up they will refute the quote and double your price. Handling is horrible. They hire 3rd party who rents budget/enterprise trucks to haul stuff. Best is to avoid this company.

Not happy with their service. Talked to Alex, schedule my move 3 weeks in advance. My confirmation states that they will arrive between 9am to 11am. They did not show up until 3pm. I had to flagged them as they road up and down my street. All I received was a old man and one young man they both could not speak English. All I had was my bed two night stands and two tv's with 13 boxes. Why did my move take 5 hours to complete my move? What a rip off!!!!!! I will never used this company again.

Where do I start? First, I want to extend my deepest gratitude towards my agent who took care of me in my time of need! My name is Rafael Morales and I was stuck in a can of worms.  Thanks to my Agent Oliver who I was first pretty impudent with because of the situation I was in. I had secured my move with a different company after getting bombarded with phone calls throughout the entire day. Oliver called me twice once in the morning the other later in the evening. I had just got home from work when he called to ask me if I still needed assistance. I immediately yelled and told him to stop calling me with the anger I had built in from all the calls from these companies non stop. He had sent me a message apologizing for the bother and mentioned if I had a mover he can match and beat their price if they are a carrier and not a broker. That is what made me do some further research. I was traveling cross Country from Oregon to Texas for work, being how this is my first move I wanted to make sure I was doing it right. The price I was promised seemed too good to be true but I thought I was just getting a hell of a deal. I called Oliver back and had him explain to me what he meant from Carriers and Brokers. THANK GOD I called back! I was in some deep you know what! He explained the industry to me thoroughly and I had no choice but to apologize to him deeply. We went through my inventory in detail he showed me I needed more space then what my original contract stated. This is to show that when you are dealing with something as important as this, it's always best to do your due diligence in RESEARCH! Thanks again Oliver and the Prof Move employees. You made this move stress free.

First off i wanted to let you know how great your team was .

Our original plan was to call U-Haul and rent a truck. We gave them all the details and once we started hearing back prices we couldn’t believe what we were hearing. From there we decided to put the information online and start receiving calls from interstate motors. To our surprise 90% of the moving companies were cheaper than if we had done ourselves .

We needed a full-service move. We need a company that would wrap furniture and pack all the boxes and get us picked up on our dates. We were very tight as far as our window for delivery but they guaranteed us that we would get delivered on that date or before. The movers were fast, efficient, and careful. Despite some incredibly hot weather, the crew stayed positive and on schedule. They were very considerate of my belongings and after my belongings were on the truck, he took a picture to show me.

My belongings arrived and I have nearly unpacked everything, and so far not one piece is broken, and no scratches on any furniture.
Which was such a relief from hearing such horror stories.

I can't thank you guys enough.

I recently moved our four bedroom house and arrange for three of our vehicles to be picked up on the same day. It was a huge jobs we wanted to make sure we had the right company that could handle the work. We also had an office that had to be moved so we needed a large portion of a full-size truck. They seemed to be a very progressive company Based on Their reviews so i know i was in great hands . The furniture arrived just as it left and we stressed at a minimum level. Just another reason why they’re one of the best companies out there. Thanks Again prof move

A horrible company! When they're on the phone taking your money they are courteous, attentive, and they sound like they're really worth the investment. But after that it's all downhill. Don't let the glossy pics in the ad fool you, either. Once they had my money they kept shifting dates as to when the truck would arrive. It took them forever to get back to me to keep me updated as to what was happening. When a truck, carrier was assigned he was 8hrs late, which for the most part would not have bothered me, except he showed up at 2 am. I will never use them, again. Nor, should you!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! They are just rogues out to cheat people. They quoted me 2000 dollars for my move and charged me 4000 on the actual day. Prof Move you guys are great. As all the other movers would call constantly and fight for our business we knew from the first time we spoke to you guys that we would probably end up reserving our move with you. Looking back I’m really happy that we did the move with you all and it went perfect. There was no holdups on picking us up in a tight time frame. Amazingly the furniture was not compromised at all and we got status updates from your girls over in your customer service department regularly. It was a good feeling to know where our furniture was at all times. We even had the drivers phone number to personally call him. Our family needed to move on a tight timeframe and prof move came through with what we needed. They were able to relocate us in a crunch, and did not overcharge for the service. I'm very pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend them to other people that need good movers. Trust me, this is my third move in my life and the best one so far. The movers knew how to make their client happy by offering all of the needed amenities and keeping in touch with us the whole time. This created a really pleasant atmosphere, I'm extremely glad and grateful for finding these guys in the nick of time. . .

Horrible experience. They give you a good estimate and it turns out to be double. They continues to tell me lower numbers of boxes needed and I kept telling them I needed more. They said they would pack everything and then when I had already agreed then they told me they don’t pack what’s in your drawers. I got my own boxes and packed my chest of drawers. They told me they would pick up my stuff on Sunday or Monday. They called to verify my items and told me they wouldn’t give a specific day because they didn’t want me to make plans. Then on Friday at 3:19, I received and email that I had to confirm by 6 or they would reached me. I called at 7 and the number I was given was wrong. I found another number and spoke to someone that confirmed the number was incorrect and that I had been confirmed for Monday. Then I received a call from a guy that he was my driver and would be there at 11 on Sunday and not the confirmed Monday. He was 20 minutes late. For a 2 bedroom home, it took them 11 hours. The price presented was double the estimate. The people who move you are subleased by Prof Move. When I called Prof Move, no one answered. Oh and there’s a big deal that you have to pay in cash when you receive your items. I requested to see the movers driver’s license. It’s an expired work VISA. They said my stuff would be delivered on Tues or Wed and now they are saying Thursday. I pray I get my stuff! I’m worried with all the lies!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The are writing fake reviews and are in fact, the same company as Main Moving LLC. They are brokers, will rip you off by increasing their quote double, charge you $500 for bubble wrap and tape, keep your belongings hostage and then, when it does finally arrive, EVERYTHING is broken or missing. Look up reviews and you will see both companies have been banned fr making fake reviews to cover up the truth. DO NOT USE MAIN MOVING LLC or PROF MOVE!!!!! Look at their reviews on my moving reviews to see they have been banned on both pages for making false reviews!

I am sitting in my motel room for the third day waiting on delivery. I was told yesterday 3-5 more days and the same thing today. Everything I own is on that truck and I wonder if this is a scam. They now tell that they don’t guarantee a delivery date which was not said until today. I am stuck and don’t recommend this company if you want to see your belongings.

Prof Move did great for us in terms of shifting. They even disassemble all of my furniture and other heavy items and later assembled it when we reached our new home. It was really tough to move stuff in a small hallway but they managed it. Super-efficient guys. Give these guys a call.

It's not easy to move and change places, but the company helps me to uninstall my furniture and place everything in my new house. They make sure that you're pleased about the job and that you're polite. Your search is finished now if you are looking for a good moving company.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, please!!!!
Not a mover- only a sales office and switchboard to connect you to the companies who will be actually moving your things.
Horrible pass-around service that is "24 hours" although really it's just a cell phone router to the unlucky customer service rep who will answer the phone anytime-- but can't do anything for you.
The companies they contract with are not professional or timely. The first company CANCELLED an hour before pickup causing the entire moving process to be pushed back a day (who does that???!!).
The second company can't even give me a time frame for the delivery of my things so I'm currently calling them every day hoping to get an update but all I've had so far is that there are 3 trucks ahead of me. No clue what that means.
Don't work with this company. They are not located where you are, and don't hire movers and companies which are convenient for you- only for them.
The low price they wave under your nose is not worth the disconnect and headache you have to deal with!

I am very happy and pleased with the service Prof Move provided me last week. My husband was out of country and I had to move with 2 children. It was really hectic to pack and move stuff. I called Prof Move to the honors for me and they were really great guys and they provide me best service and I am really thankful to them. My budget was so low but they still provide me best service. I am really thankful to you guys. I recommend them.

I will never use this company again! We booked a move and everything was wrong. I should have known from the beginning - red flags everywhere. They said they would have a truck and crew to pack up all our stuff earlier than expected. They called saying they would be there within a half hour. Two hours later one guy shows up with a truck. He started looking at all our stuff and immediately was talking about extra fees and charges for certain items when I already had agreed to a price. No one else came. We couldn't come to an understanding so I sent him on his way and rented another truck and did it myself. Shady shady shady!! Do not trust!! They will rip you off!!

Our original movers backed out at the last minute, but I'm happy that we got these guys instead. They were very careful and professional. They wrapped our furniture in blankets and plastic. We had the truck blocking our neighbors and the driver always moved out of their way without hesitation or delay. Other movers we used in the past weren't so polite about moving the truck for others to pass by or park. I would use this crew again.

If you look this company up on Google maps, there is a reason you will not see any moving trucks at their address. Once you contract with this company and you're past your cancellation date, they will hand you off to a logistics company that will come and pack up your stuff .The logistics company will then sell your "move" to an independent driver that takes your stuff to your new home. You might get lucky, but your stuff is packed, loaded, then unloaded at the logistics center, sits waiting for a driver, then is loaded again. We had several damaged and missing items and found little accountability from anyone. We submitted a claim for several thousand dollars and received a $95 check. We will NEVER use these crooks again and suggest you do the same. Stick with a company that does the whole job (sales, pack up, drive & unload). It might cost a bit more but well worth it.

I am so much sure that they are the movers to shift me in the future. I wouldn't want to hire out another moving company. Surely, why would I settle for the better option if I already have the best? I believe that no single mover is a match for this company. They for sure earned my trust. I liked the way they carried out the movement off every single piece of property to NC. It was such a fantastic experience. I expect even better next time because they are so promising.

Terrible. Moved irreplaceable furniture, broke numerous custom made pieces, destroyed my treadmill, and since I only realized one piece was broken in move they basically said they’d give me less than $10 for it since it was light weight. Most of my things went into storage and now as I’m finally able to open everything it’s too late to do anything aside from warn others not to use them. If you do, watch them while they wrap your things. Glass was broken, wood cracked all because they wrapped things so fast and too tightly. The wrapping tape is so hard to remove and it was sloppily slapped on every piece of wood dining chairs. Would not recommend.

Do not use. Prof Move is Main Move. They are a broker and not a moving company with company owned trucks and crews as advertised. I was the victim of bait and switch, false promises and valuable electronics have gone missing.

At end of July I reserved a move with Prof Move for ~1,400 cf. I submitted a revised packing list about a week before the move and they did not call me until 1 hour before the movers were supposed to come. At that time they 'estimated' that the new size of my move would be 2,200 cf. I had only added a couch and a couple of chairs. I protested saying that it seemed a little high, but Rick pressured me into signing the estimate with the promise that it would be reduced to the 'actual' once my stuff was on the truck. The moving crew arrived wearing 'Main Moving' shirts about 7 hours late. I was assured that they would be able to move my house in one day, but it stretched into the next day. Once it came time to sign the final invoice, new fees were also added that were not previously discussed. My original estimate was $6,500 and the final estimate ballooned to $12,500 and was assured by Rick that he would investigate and get the costs down. We had to be out of our place and in Texas for a new job so did not have the ability to postpone the move and go with a different carrier.

The one good thing they did was get our stuff to Texas quickly. It arrived in 5 days. However when our stuff arrived we realized that 6 in-box Sonos Play 1 speakers were missing. I have reported the missing items to Prof Move and they have been unresponsive.

Finally, I did some research and realized that they grossly overstated the size of my move. My entire move fit on a 26' Ryder Box truck. According to the Ryder website the capacity of that truck is 1,600 cf. Why then was I charged for 2,200 cf.? 600 cf at their stated rate of $4.25 is about $2,400. There were a few red flags along they way so shame on me for moving forward with Prof Move, but they had an excuse and explanation each time I voiced a concern so this clearly wasn't the first time they played this game.

Don't get scammed by these guys like I did. Find a different mover.

I called what I thought was the direct line to my sales agent. Apparently I was wrong. When the gentleman answered the phone he said I was calling Pro Move or Prof Move, he didn't speak clear but I know by the sound of his tone he was a little shaken up when I asked If I was calling Main Moving. He then said, “ YES, THIS IS MAIN MOVING.” When asked who Prof Move was he said he didn’t know, if that’s the case why are you answering the phone introducing yourself as Prof Move. After ending the call with the agent I went through my emails and low and behold I had an email from Prof Move which I received at almost the exact same time as the one from Main Moving. I also received text messages from both companies. The phone numbers that the calls were coming from were nearly identical.

As if moving isn’t hard enough, I have to worry about being scammed. In my attempt to get a few quotes to see if the price was similar amongst the companies, how am I to know what’s real when 2 of the three companies I spoke with are actually the same company disguising themselves with different names!!!?? This is for one unethical and two, illegal! I spoke with a third company who of course called me, the gentleman was very nice and polite. After giving him the amount of cubic feet Main Moving had given me, he gave me a price that was much higher than Main Moving. Before I could ask him questions about his company, he began to push me to go with Main Moving. He basically told me that I would be a fool to not call them now and reserve with them. He didn’t make any attempts to ask for my business he kept telling me that Main Moving was a good company and they must have a route available and I should hurry up and call them to reserve before I miss out on their offer. I have come to the conclusion that all 3 companies that i spoke with were THE SAME COMPANY!!!

Buyer beware, after further review and reading reviews on these two companies (the third company doesn’t exist btw) it would appear that they have the same customer service agent taking calls. The descriptions that I read from customer reviews illustrate the same rude, disrespectful woman. I also found it funny that the reviews for each company both mention a man named Barry coincidence? This company is sloppy and If I was able to catch that this was a scam, I’m sure others have as well. If you are considering either of these companies Main Moving or Prof Move, you are in for a rude awakening. My suggestion would be to do as I did and run, run as fast as you can. I decided to rent a Pods, 4 of them. This is the worst part, the amount of space that they said I needed was nowhere near the amount of space that my move required. I can’t imagine the thousands of dollars they would have charged me if I did chose them. I could go on and on.

Warning: Don’t use this company. Save yourself the pain. They will give you a low quote to sell the service. Then, they will charge you much more when the truck is half loaded up. They will set up a moving date and won’t be there to pick it up. They will set a delivery date and won’t deliver it as expected. Costumer service is disrespectful. It is a tremendous hassle.
