This company is a complete sham. They low ball estimates to suck unsuspecting customers in and then when they are already at you home and you are stuck using them they jack up the price. In my case from a estimate of $560.00 and "not a penny more" to about $900.00 with tip. It is a shame that the owners make a living taking advantage of people who are looking for a cheep solution to commercial movers. At the end of the day, I would rather have paid the extra $240.00 to a commercial mover and not delt with feeling ripped off by this business.
The five guys from Prof Move arrived on time. We are really happy with the whole crew who came to us. They did a good job parking, moving and loading trucks. They did a great job keeping things clean on a muddy day and delivered it safely to our new house on time. We really appreciated the hard effort they offered, very happy and satisfied with the experience.
Delivery Was unsatisfactory. I was quoted $1,275. I expected to pay more because things were added. However, I ended up paying over $6,000. I felt I had no choice because all items were loaded onto the truck. I really feel I was taken advantage of. Thank you for listening.
The guys were so nice and I was pleasantly surprised that the cost came below the estimate. Without exception, each of the gentlemen involved in our move showed genuine concern for not only our belongings, but for us! I will recommend them to anyone I know who is looking to move in near future
They offered me a lower price and then, by the time we were finished, the price was almost double (but they were there at the house with some things already loaded and it was too late to get someone else that quickly). They broke numerous expensive items and I can't get anyone from the insurance company to get back to me. Prof Move Customer Service said they contract out their insurance, but the customer service rep says he doesn't know the name of the insurance company. He also said the insurance company only works by email (no phone number) and after numerous phone calls to Prof Move customer service, I received the insurance company's rep's email (maybe) and while I was told her name - her email account has a different name. Further, it was a gmail email account instead of a professional company domain which was very disturbing. I emailed the "insurance woman" and she responded once and now, radio silence. And, as if all of this isn't bad enough - when I called Prof Move Customer Service AGAIN to tell them that I got one response from the insurance person, and then nothing, they just told me that I should email in to their info@ email so that the Prof Move owner will see it. I told him that HE SHOULD CONTACT THE OWNER but I was told to do it myself. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
