Don't hire them! You will regret it if you do! They are a total SCAM! They are nice, responsive, and accommodating until you sign the agreement. After that, you won't even get an answer to your phone calls or emails. And they will keep charging you for fake additional fees until your original quote almost doubles! Don't hire them! Find anyone else, but not these people! They are liars and prey on poor folk by giving reasonable sounding quotes until they get you to sign the agreement and then the quote keeps getting higher, but by that time you can't cancel the agreement as you have already signed it and have paid a deposit also---every step of the way, they rip you off! And don’t even get me started on the amount of stuff that was damaged and broken when they finally delivered them, for which you won’t get a single penny back! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

SCAM ALERT !!. Planet Van Lines is a scam company. They are nice and helpful on the phone UNTIL YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND SIGN THE CONTRACT. After they pick up your things you will never hear from them or be able to get anyone on the phone including the "nice person" you gave your order to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had them move my things from Florida to Oregon. What I expected was a nice moving company personnel in Planet Van Lines uniforms. What I got was a racist, marijuana smoking team that turned out to test positive for COVID-19 yet I was not notified of this. They are not a real moving company. Instead they contract with other moving companies taking a piece of the pie per se and you will not know who your real movers are. I wish I had read previous reviews before using this company. DON'T LET THEM CON YOU !!

My experience with Planet Van Lines (PVL) was a NIGHTMARE! THE SCAM IS REAL. PAY ATTENTION TO THESE OTHER REVIEWS! I got an initial quote for 40 boxes, a bed, some portable gym equipment like Maxi climber, stationary bike and a street bike for about 2400 dollars. I arranged my departure date, paid the deposit 3 months in advance. I was fine with the quote but right before my move date decided to add a dresser, nightstand and 25 to 30 more boxes. They sent me back a quote for 6500 dollars. I decided to not add the extra items and let them know that I would eliminate much of it and stick with the original inventory and quote. I'm scheduled to move across country in two days and did not want to complicate things. One hour later, I get a call from management telling me that they could not complete my booking because the driver had Covid. The driver did not have covid when they were trying to wrangle 6500 dollars out of me. A sick driver is not a consumer problem but a corporate problem; however, they made it my nightmare. The manager was very reckless in presenting the cancelation with no apology and NO OTHER OPTIONS OR MOVE DATE. They just canceled my cross country move two days before departure and before my apartment lease was up. They left me hanging because I would not comply with being price gouged. I am not only writing a bad review but I am also reporting them at the corporate level and to the BBB. I will sound off to anyone or any entity that will listen. Last but not least, they were non-committal about giving me my 1500 dollar deposit back. They were also demanding the 6500 dollars before the movers would load the truck and then I felt suspicious that they would refuse to unload the truck unless I gave them more money at the drop off point. Now two days before my departure flight, I have to scramble to find an interstate mover within my budget AND I HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET MY DEPOIST BACK. This company is at the top of the scammer pyramid. RUN...DO NOT CONSIDER USING THEM. YOU WILL REGRET THE NIGHTMARE THEY WILL CREATE IN YOUR LIFE TRYING TO SCAM YOU. THEY ARE TRULY THE EPITOME OF A SCAMMER OPERATION.

Hands down the best moving company I've used in years. Every step of the way the staff was professional, responsive, and friendly. All of my belongings were handled with care and very punctual. I thought is was going to take all day for a move of my size, but they exceeded my expectations by completing my move in about six hours picking me up and about another six delivering and setting up. I'm very impressed and will be using them again if my job decides to transfer me again. 10/10 in my book.

Our moving experience with Planet Van Lines started out good but ended terribly. David Wilson our salesperson was very helpful in negotiating a late move schedule requested he was really nice and friendly as we discussed then gave us a quote of $12186.49, we then paid $4326.13 down and a payment of $4318.02 was to be paid on the pickup and another $4318.02 on the drop. when the Driver arrived he then perform a walkthrough of all our items and said it was 3760 CUBIC FOOT! 1,178 CUBIC FOOT OVER from what their SENIOR MOVING CONSULTANT had estimated and that he wanted $10,000 dollars for the pickup if not he would leave. and that included a $75.00 dollars charge for the STAIRS and $300.00 dollars for misc. bulky items? all of which our salesperson said we would not be charged for and $425.00 dollars for total material and packing and it says SEE ATTACHED MATERIALS PRICE LIST TO WHICH THERE WAS NOTHING ATTACHED, at that time I just about had a heart attack from the shock of the amount I then said hold up and I need to call to make some financial arrangements because we were counting only paying the amount in the contract of $4318.02 and also want to call our sale rep, I did so with NO RESPONSE from our SENIOR MOVING CONSULTANT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. OUR SENIOR MOVING CONSULTANT TURNED INTO A GHOST. The driver then said that he would leave and when we are ready to call him and he will return cause he is only 10 minutes down the road from us?, so he pulls away and both my wife and myself could not believe what was happening, this was our life savings on the line, after making some arrangements to borrow more money from family members we had no choice but to call the driver back and agree to sign the INFLATED bill of lading. The truck was then loaded and left to go somewhere and be offloaded into storage and wait for dispatch to schedule the load and then to be loaded onto another trailer with another family belongings. I was able to finally contact customer service and spoke to Samantha and spoke with her on the extra charges of $75.00 dollars charge for the STAIRS and $300.00 dollars for misc. bulky items? and $425.00 dollars for total material and packing she then agreed to discount us the $75.00 for the stairs and for the 75 inch TV they were to box up and did not for a total discount of $149.97 so then the final payment was to be $4168.05 was that was it no more. total move cost $18494.18 ($6307.69) difference from the original binding moving estimate. when the truck arrived June 4th 12 days later we were satisfied with the arrival date, the truck driver then contemplated on how to pull the truck in, we have 24 acres here 4 of it grass plenty of room to maneuver, he finally pulls in and said good thing I am professional I just save you a lot of money, I took this as meaning that he would have had to shuttle our items from the truck because of not being able to park close enough, resulting in money charged, I just laughed and said to myself my grand mother could have parked the truck in the drive with all that room (4 acres) right next to the house. As the driver started to unload the truck I said, do you have any help coming and he said someone coming from Nashville and someone coming from Jackson both at least an hour away and both in opposite directions. The truck was loaded from the floor to the ceiling and every time he would pull out a box two more would fall, I called customer service to informed them that the driver had NO helpers and I asked if we were going to be responsible to assemble our items that they took apart, she said no because this is what we get paid to do, she said she was going to contact dispatch to see what's going on and would get back to me, after about an hour with no response from customer service, I called them back and she hung up on me. with only one person unloading our possessions, it was like an avalanche as he would pry loose one box more boxes would come tumbling down. also noticed a total lack of respect for our possessions, boxes clearly labeled as FRAGILE WERE CRUSHED. the BBQ Grill looked like it had fallen off the truck a couple of times and Items that we had to reassemble, we had to purchase new hardware because we could not locate the original screws/nuts/bolts. I will say this the ONE MAN that unloaded our possessions really busted his butt for about 7 hours with very few breaks, the only things he was able to reassemble were our beds and we were very thankful for that.
