This was my second project with Michael, and it's a smaller project. Velez at New Horizon Moving was professional, quick, friendly, and done things.

ABSOLUTE TRASH! THE ONLY THING THEY HAVE DONE IS HIRE A SUB-PAR MOVING COMPANY BASED OIT OF SAN DIEGO (PLYMOUTH VAN LINES INC.). THE MOVING COMPANY IS MAKING ISSUES WITH BAD COMMUNICATIONS, EMPTY APOLOGIES, AND BAD INFORMATION. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO NEW HORIZONS MULTIPLE TIMES AND GET THE SAME FROM THEM. I PAID $1754 FOR THE INITIAL BOOKING AND DEPOSIT, AND AN ADDITIONAL $550 FOR WHO KNOWS WHAT. THEY HAVE NOT HELPED ME AT ALL ALONG THE WAY WITH INFORMATION THAT DOES NOT MATCH WHAT THE MOVING COMPANY IS GIVING ME AND THEIR BROKER JONATHAN HAS BEEN LIYNG TO ME ABOUT ANY EFFORT MADE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. IM 36 DAYS DEEP WITH MY HHG NO WHERE EVEN CLOSE TO BEING DELIVERED. IN SHORT, THEY TAKE TOOK MY MONEY, LIED TO ME, IGNORED MY CALLS FOR HELP, AND SPLIT. AS AN ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBER TO OUR NATION I AM APPAULED AND INSULTED AND WARN ANYONE ELSE NOT TO USE THEM.

New Horizon Moving were professional and fast movers. They were on time and quoted an excellent price for my one-bedroom move. I would hire them again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! No professionalism. The call started very nice and the customer service person was very helpful, saying all the right things! As soon as the things started getting serious in terms of the quote, they kept forcing us to give the deposit. And kept saying how all the steps/process needs to happen in the same phone call. Would not let us read our agreement and kept forcing us to sign the contract. Any questions we asked the representative she kept going around in circle without answering the question especially related to the deposit. Because we felt uncomfortable we just asked to cancel our order all together. As soon as we did that the tone of the voice changed and the representative started being rude to us with no good reason. We disconnected the phone and then two other people called from the same company calling us “obnoxious” and treating us poorly. Honestly, the worst experience I have ever had! Stay away from them after reading other reviews I am glad we did not authorize the deposit and were able to get out of this horrible experience.

These people do not care about your stuff. The company contracts people to move your possessions and washes their hand of everything at that point. The contractors refused to take the prior approved items and then charged $1000 more - was several days late and refused to deliver until we paid them $2000 more than what was agreed upon and threatened to put our belongings in storage and making us financially responsible because “it was written in the contract” that way. Basically held are items “hostage” til we paid their price. New M & S says that they can’t do anything because the contract says it’s up to the movers. From the items that they did move - Missing lamps - broken items inside crushed boxes that were marked fragile. This has been nightmare! Rent a truck and hire someone you trust to load and transport- it will be less expensive and less if a heartache.
