Monarch was literally a lifesaver for us. Me and my husband made a terrible decision and had our move reserved with another moving company. I won't say their name here I already left my reviews for them, but they gave us a 3 day "pick up window" and just never showed up and still won't give me my money back. Anyway, I called Monarch back the day before i absolutely needed to move out. Ther actually were able to get me picked up the same day thank God. Adam from Monarch was super super helpful with everything up until the day we got our things delivered.
My family & I just moved about 1,800 miles for our first big move. So naturally, we weren't sure whether or not we should try this ourselves or book with a company. We went over all the scenarios and finally came to the conclusion that we would go with a company. So, we spoke with multiple companies that had huge price differences. We spoke with Monarch for a couple weeks comparing quotes and inventory. Adam is one of the managers and the way he slowly went over very precise details was just what my wife and I needed. I was asked every time we spoke if there was anything he could do to make this time easier on us, and, thanks to Adam, there wasn't. Eventually, after a couple weeks of comparing we decided to go with him. Another man named Jordan called around a week before the move making sure every single detail was perfect for us. The move went perfect. We are so happy we chose Monarch and if we ever have to go anywhere again, I can promise you that Monarch Moving Group will be our first and only choice. Adam even called me the day of and the day after the move to make sure everything ran smoothly. They also gave me 10% off of our moves from our future moves and also our relatives moves. Again, we have to say this one last time, Thank you so much Adam Jordan & the entire Monarch crew for all of your help! We will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know!
The move went great! I was very nervous about moving so far ive never done this before. The only problem was that i had some damage to an end table, however i was able to file the claim for reimbursement as soon as i notified Monarch of the damages. I definetly know who i would call if i ever need to do another long distance move, and would reccomend them to anyone in need of movers.
I would 100% recommend Monarch Moving Group to any friend or family member that is moving. They were really professional and handled all of our things with care. Adam was extremely informative and basically walked us thru the entire process before it even started. It was a pleasure working with them and I'm really glad that Monarch was the company we went with.
Extremely deceitful and questionable business practices. Their only goal is to deliver your belongings by the 21st business day as legally obligated but with no respect or regard for their client's belongings or money. I moved from Boston to San Francisco and I was never informed that work was being sub-contracted out and that my move actually involved 3 organizations (Monarch Moving Group based in PA, Patriot Relocation Corp based in NJ (couldn't find a website for them), and DelPro based in NJ). This information only came to light when a) the movers came to pick up my stuff and they were not Monarch (they were Patriot) and b) when I was calling the sub-contracted movers (Patriot) after my stuff had already been taken with no update for 8 days. They then told me that they didn't have my stuff but actually had sub-contracted the move out to yet another company (DelPro). To briefly sum up the long, disappointing saga of dealing with them, I incurred extra charges, I received different answers from everyone I spoke to when I actually managed to get a hold of them (they still haven't answered our most recent messages from 8/29), I was yelled at by the still unidentified owner of Monarch who threatened to sue my mother and I for slander because we were vocal about our dissatisfaction with his services, I was treated extremely disrespectfully by almost everyone I talked to about the status of my move and in the end, I had to pick up and move my own belongings from a sketchy "industrial park" in Oakland to San Francisco because their 18 wheeler truck carrying my queen mattress, 10 boxes, rug and guitar couldn't fit on or near my street. Somehow their lack of planning is the customer's problem and results in an extra minimum charge of $350 for shuttle services. Please don't make the same mistake I made and hire Monarch for ANY size move that you have. If I had properly done research, I would have seen their numerous (and growing) poor ratings outside of just Google. Completely unacceptable and overpriced.
