The sales person was very persuasive and responsive until I signed the contract. Michael Goldman. The rates kept changing and they slipped in extra SQ charges. When the time came to move, they were no shows and told us that they had no one to drive the route. Never even called to tell us that they weren't coming. Michael has still never responded. Left us stranded with an apartment full of furniture and boxes and 0 options. Ended up renting a UHaul and driving 11 hours through the mountains of Tennessee and Kentucky. Received a deposit refund 4 days later after I complained and demanded it in writing. Stay away from this company, Unprofessional scammers.

A nightmare of an experience with Expo Van Lines, I would encourage all people seeking an out-of-state move to stay away. I had scheduled a move from California to Texas about 5 weeks prior and the individual I had dealt with, Justin, was very kind and answered all of my questions, at the time. During our phone conversation, I learned that Expo was a brokerage rather than their own independent van line. The approximately 1300 dollar deposit was high, but it was hard to secure a company and I was in desperate need. The day before the move things took a terrible turn, I received a call from one of their employees, Regina, who informed me that my move was being cancelled as the driver did not want to drive that close to Mexico (something which they could have easily let me know a few weeks back when I was booking). Something did not add up, so I asked if they were willing to move my stuff to San Antonio, they claimed it was still too close to Mexico. "How about Austin or Houston?" Nope, still too close. The day before my move they only offered to move my stuff to Dallas, a 9 hour drive away from my target location. I tried calling, Justin, the representative who I was comfortable with earlier but despite leaving several voicemails, I received no reply. "Who is the mover?" I asked, "We can't give you that information, do you want us to move your stuff to Dallas or not?" she asked. Without another option, I proceeded and told them that I would hire a separate company to move my items from Dallas to my city. "Okay, but we can still do the move in the morning? I'm headed out of the city in the afternoon" I stated. She gave me a range between between 9-3, I believe. The next day comes and no truck arrives, I call Regina and she immediately asks why am I calling. I inform her that the moving truck is not here yet and it is now around 4 and I have to leave very shorty. She calls the truck driver and lets me know that the truck is running late. I ask for a timeline but she says she cannot give me one. At this point, I once again ask who the moving company is so I can call them directly; Regina states that the company is Insta Moving and claims that she had been willing to tell me the entire time, obvious gaslighting techniques. I look up this company and see no reviews above a 1 star with 17 reviews total. The reviews read that they would load the items and then demand more payment or they would drop the items off on the side of the road. I then call Regina and tell her I do not feel comfortable proceeding with this move given their reluctance to offer information, the need for a second move, and the quality of the movers that this brokerage had secured. She then tells me that she is no longer willing to give me a refund. I ask to speak with their manager "I am a manager" she shrieks, (a claim that did not agree with her job title in the email). I do not back down and threaten legal action, she begrudgingly agrees and sends me email confirmation of a promise to refund. My experience with them was a nightmare and I did not get my refund until a few weeks after and filing a notice to dispute through my bank as my bank had claimed that they erroneously filed the refund (potentially intentional).

We had a two-man crew show up today right in the middle of the time window we were given. They quickly and professionally disassembled and wrapped our furniture, carried it down the two flights of stairs from our apartment, and got it safely to the storage unit in FL. I highly recommend them!

They were quick, efficient, professional, courteous, top-notch, and friendly. In less than no time, they were on the road. When we arrived at our new home Wyatt and the team, now reduced to three, unloaded and made sure everything ended up in the right place. I was delighted with the level of service and cannot recommend Wyatt and the team at Expo vanlines highly enough.
