ZERO stars. Took our $4800 deposit and did not do the move. Had to hire a real mover (United Van Lines). They have not refunded deposit. Had a call from some ratty mover in Las Vegas (Oasis Moving & Storage) who said Executive gave them our contract. Oasis has a horrible record and should not be used. Florida state AG's office is pursuing case against Executive. Do not use them under any circumstance!

I was calling around to see how much it would cost for me to move. On April 28th, 2022, at 2:26 PM I was contacted by Al Russo an employee with Executive Van Lines from phone number (754) 241-2804 to assist me in moving my belongings from my apartment in Hillsboro OR to Linden, NJ. Iwas told the estimated price would be $1650.00. I was to pay a deposit of $689.00. I requested for the money to be withdrawn on May 3rd, 2022. After fully reading the contract, I realized the 18-wheeler would not be able to reach my apartment and they were trying to withdrawal the money, I called them at 888-261-0771 and 754-241-2804 on April 29th at 8:05am and spoke with a manager regarding the withdrawal and to cancel the contract because of the 18-wheeler issue. I do not remember his name. I had called back at 8:16am verify the cancelation and the money would not be withdrawn from my account and was informed it would not be. (Per the contract I had 24 hours to cancel for full refund) On May 3, 2022, I discovered they took out $689.00 from my account. I called them at 888-261-0771 and was informed I would receive my refund with in 4 to 7 weeks. On June 2,2022 I called again and was told they would send an email to billing department. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was unable to. I continued to call and send emails thru July. In July I was told there was no record of the transaction. In August until now I call both numbers 888-261-0771 and 754-241-2804 and receives a busy signal. I've tried canceling my check and was unable to because I gave them permission. I'm on SSI and cannot afford to be giving my money away. We need to start a class action lawsuit.

They came and picked up my stuff may 10th and now its September 17th and I still don't have any of my property. When you try and call them you will only get a busy signal. They outsourced my move to alpine van lines which is a company in a massive legal battle for their negligence. Im a full time single dad and I couldn't even get my daughter registered for school because of them not delivering my property. I've put out a police report on them, contacted the FMCSA, BBB, and went on a consumer awareness podcast for fraudulent companies. All to be told that my stuff is still sitting in Colorado and that I might be made to pay a 700.00 per month storage fee because of their problems. Do not use this company its a scam.

Stay away. After paying a refundable deposit to hold a rate/date, I decided to cancel. I received a message on April 19, 2022, stating my refund was "approved." I still have not received my refund. Now, the phone number doesn't work and emails to several addresses bounce back, leaving no way to contact this company.

September 11, 2022 US Department of Transportation 400 7th St SW Washington DC 20590 Better Business Bureau 4250 N Fairfax Drive, Suite 600 Arlington, Virginia U.S. 22203 Executive Van Lines 7901 4th Street N. St. Petersburg, FL 33702 Moving Depot LLC 3801 SW 49th Ct Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 To whom it may concern - Thank you for your time in reviewing the details concerning our move. This letter is an attempt to address this unbelievable injustice to us as well as many other people who have experienced extreme loss due to contracting with Executive Van Lines. Quite honestly, I have put in careful thought in how I address this because after reading other individuals’ stories, you have to wonder whose experience is worse. After reading the reviews for both EXECUTIVE Van Lines & Moving Depot I have come to the conclusion that the individuals writing them as well as my fiancé and I have lost our fight for justice. In the society we live in now it’s difficult to prepare for the financial burden it puts on someone, only to find out you have been completely taken advantage of, it’s so disheartening to see all the reviews sent out by people that were affected by this business and nothing being done. I’m amazed they remain in business and continue to take advantage of people such as myself. The details outlined below are some but not all the issues we experienced as a result of this moving experience. FALSE ADVERTISMENT Website – “we’ll provide an accurate estimate of our services with no hidden fees, “lucky for you, we don’t need to trick our clients into paying more for our services, because we have been keeping clients satisfied for over ten years. FALSE – they have only been in business since 2021 Full-service moving brokerage offers interstate moving services that help people from the start of the moving process to the end. Our FMCSA-authorized household goods motor carrier can pack, disassemble, FALSE – nothing was assembled or disassembled, our furniture was missing or stolen, there was nothing to assemble. and haul your belongings across the United States without any stress – FALSE 100% Stress Don’t stress out though, because we here at Executive Van Lines have got you covered. All of our FMCSA-authorized household goods motor carriers can take your important belongings from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast and get them there in one piece without cutting any corners – FALSE – 90% of our items were either missing or broken. The boxes brought into our home were ripped open and caved in. When you hire us, you hire a moving broker that cares about your personal belongings just as much as you do. We know that your belongings are so much more than “stuff” All the memories attached to them and the comfort they bring are what will turn your new place into a home. Our keen eye for detail insures that whatever the distance, your possessions will arrive just as you remember them. FALSE Moving Depot – Representatives were dirty, had tee shirts wrapped around their head, pants falling off them, and literally taking our boxes and THROWING them across the floor. FALSE Never unpacked anything for fear we would discover all our broken items – Claimed the list they had been given did not have a sofa, or any other things we have proof Executive Van Lines had on record. if they feel that they have been over-charged or charged for services that they didn’t receive prior, during, or after services were completed, they are provided with the opportunity to have their issues and concerns formally addressed, investigated, and resolved in accordance with their coverage and contractual liabilities. FALSE – We were strung along for months, multiple investigations, submitting duplicate documents & paperwork, so they could buy time – literally being made a fool of believing they were trying to make things right Upon initial inspection of our items, they said that one truck would fit all of my belongings, but when the day came they said it would be two full trucks adding an additional $ 500, additionally charged an addition $ 75.00 from what our initial quote had for stairs Every response Moving Depot had for the Better Business Bureau are identical – They request MORE documentation, after you’ve submitted it ten times already. They claim they will open an investigation – we’ve had a minimum of three investigations They have an arbitrator that reviews claim’s of damage and or missing items. There is no insurance company Blow is Moving Depots definition of an “insurance Company” HelpDesk | Moving Claims Support Team CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR CASE Moving Claims is not an insurance company and the employees of Moving Claims are not acting as your insurance claim adjusters. Moving Claims does not practice Insurance law, does not give legal advice, and does not adjust insurance claims. By using the Moving Claims website, no insurance claim will be created with Moving Claims. Instead, you are filing a Household Goods claim directly with the motor carrier who moved you via Moving Claims Websites for the purposes of settlement negotiations based upon the valuation selection you made; not an insurance claim. The information contained in this email is designed for informational purposes only. Nothing in this email is designed or intended to constitute legal advice. Federal, state, & local laws and regulations governing the moving industry change frequently and may be interpreted differently by different people. If you need specific legal advice you should consult a lawyer directly or a representative from the US DOT. The arbitrator tells Moving Depot how much to pay for our missing and damaged claims – as seen in previous reviews online the typical settlement offer is between $ 75.00 – 95.00 dollars. We were offered $ 75.00 for a 1. Paying on a new couch I still owed on, and no longer have. 2. $ 700.00 in Televisions one broken, one “missing”. 3. 80% Crystal, Dishes, Glassware broken. When I contacted Mellissa the Customer Service Representative I was put on hold for close to an hour, she mentioned she was told we filed a complaint with the USDOT and the Better Business Bureau and she assured me this would “not go well for us, in settling” FACTS - • The moving company claimed that they have been in business for 10 YEARS COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION - They were established & incorporated in 2021 • Executive Van Lines does not offer or agree to an onsite inspection of your household goods, gives an estimate over the telephone or Internet — sight unseen, and does not provide you with either a “binding” or “non-binding” written estimate. • Executive Van Lines sales representative was pushy and willing to stay on hold for over an hour and half because I refused to discuss the possibility of utilizing them for our move. She called and emailed multiple times with Statements like: “This deal is only good for today so we need a deposit now to lock in the rate. • ”MOVING DEPOT DID NOT provide us with a copy of “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move,” a booklet movers are required by Federal regulations to supply to their customers in the planning stages of interstate moves. On moving day, a U-Haul rental truck arrived rather than a company owned or marked fleet truck. • Company claims Satisfaction Guaranteed This letter is being sent in hopes that someone would investigate this further and take into consideration the many people that have been affected by these companies, the loss we all have suffered and the unethical way of conducting business through these two Business Establishments – Your assistance is appreciated – Kind Regards, Cindy Hill / Mark Sansone hen you hire us, you hire a moving broker that care
