Dougherty Brothers Moving is one of the best brokers we have worked with and we have used many. The estimate was accurate and they assigned a really good carrier who went above and beyond when handling our stuff. They treated our items like they were their own and really paid attention to detail when they packed the truck. We are very happy with our move.
DBM helped us with our move back to Florida this last month and they provided a great service. Good communication and the crew was on time and got to work wrapping our furniture before they loaded it. They were professional and fast!
They were the highest quote we got out of the 5 or 6 different companies we spoke to but not by much. We felt more comfortable after speaking with David and going over a detailed list of what we have. Only 1 other company asked us for that list but they had a lot of complaints so we landed on Dougherty Brothers. They were pretty close to the final cost from the original estimation and the service was good from the pickup and delivery crew. In hindsight I should have done the free storage option with them because we ended up having to rent a storage unit anyways for a few weeks when our house was getting last minute renovations. Dougherty Brothers is awesome and I will probably use them again someday.
Dougherty Brothers was recommended to us by a friend who used them before. They helped me move from Jersey to Texas. We added the full packing option which in my opinion was worth it. They also accommodated our storage needs for a few days while we waited to occupy our new apartment. They made this process a lot easier than I even expected!
Good all around company. They were great at communicating our needs with the carrier and calling/emailing us with updates. They delivered on expectations and gave us a good price for the full service package with packing for our boxes. I wish I had known about this company 2 years ago when we moved with North American Van Lines. The service was basically the same but almost twice as expensive with North American. Now I know for the future.
