PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. THERE ARE A LOT OF FAKE ONES. I do not write negative reviews ever. But we have had such a poor experience that I really want to warn other people about this company. My wife and I recently moved to Florida from Texas. I called Safeway after an extensive search for moving companies. Talked to an individual who was extremely friendly. They provided the most reasonable price. He said our stuff should arrive within 6-7 business days. He made a lot of promises. So we felt good about it and paid our deposit. (Note: the deposit is refundable up until a week prior to moving). Fast forward to a couple of days prior to moving. We get a second contract from a DIFFERENT moving company. I am assuming that Safeway Relocation Services outsourced our job WITHOUT telling us about it. The contract for the second one was very different from the one we had originally gotten. However, it came at the point where it was too late to get our deposit back. I have called the original Safeway Relocation employee many times since then, but he has not answered. Fast forward to today. We had the new company pick up our stuff one week before we moved and we have been living in our new house for 10 days. We have nothing. Our stuff is sitting in an warehouse somewhere in Texas. It could take three more weeks for our belongings to get here. (Potentially longer). Also, the second company that we did not originally chose made us Venmo or wire transfer our second payment to them. At this point, I really wish we would have lost our deposit with Safeway and done something else. Again, I am telling you please do not use this company. You may get outsourced and put into the same situation that we are in.
I was impressed with the level of expertise displayed by the movers. They clearly knew what they were doing and were able to handle my items with skill and precision. I had no issues throughout the move.
The moving crew was very friendly and easy to work with, which made the move less stressful than I expected. They were able to put me at ease and make the process feel more manageable.
The trucks were huge which fit all of my furniture and equipment provided by this moving company was the best I've ever seen. They made the process of moving so much smoother and more efficient.
This moving company is the best of the best! The team was so helpful and accommodating, and they took great care in handling my belongings. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality moving experience.
