Do not use these movers, they break your stuff misplace screws whereas you cannot put your beds or mirrors back to together, I asked for a larger truck they send a small truck. Then they hold your items hostage, I asked several. Times to located my bed supports for the frame, now all of a sudden they show up now how do I get the items. I ordered plastic for king and queen bedding called twice, women says oh yeah we got that for you….they guy tells me we don’t have that….they are Horrible!! They are ripping off the military to, do not use this company shut them down!!!! Had to hire another company to complete the job. That costs me more money. What a dam shame.
They broke 2 doors and a TV, took an extra hour in pay because they forgot their tools and made me escort them back to the old house, and then gave me a whole 176 back for the 1000+ in damages they caused. Also, they aren't licensed to move in GA. Don't use this company.
WARNING!! Please do not use this moving company. They falsely advertise they have professional movers. Unfortunately, two young teenagers showed up in a small rented Budget van with a small dolly that was unable to accommodate my furniture and they had to essentially force my furniture to fit which caused damage to my new furniture and they even dragged my new mattress on the ground, which is now soiled and dirty. They were extremely inefficient, unprofessional and lacked experience with disassembling the most simple items, such as a bedframe. They repeatedly had to ask for assistance and guidance to complete even the simplest tasks. Furthermore, they combined all the screws together and did not even remember which screws belonged to which item. I am still missing screws for several items, including a new bedroom set. Their website is definitely misleading and they advertise they specialize in moving specialty/heavy items. At the time of scheduling my move, I confirmed on numerous occasions if they were able to dissemble, move and reassemble an Italian Slate pool table. The sales rep confirmed their movers are all experienced with moving specialty items and she even declined a picture of the pool table to show the movers to confirm they are able to properly move the table and bring the correct tools to complete the job. This Well, the two teenagers arrived in a small budget truck with a mini dolly and quickly realized they were unable to move the table. They attempted to contact the owner for approximately 45 mins with no contact. This should have been a red flag for me to cancel the move and just locate another moving company. The movers advised we wouldn’t be charged for the time considering they was unable to move the table and informed us the hourly rate wouldn’t start until they arrive at the residence and start moving items. The moved was scheduled for 9 am but they didn’t actually start moving items until 10:47 am (1 hour and 47 mins later). We didn’t sign the paperwork until 10:47 am, however they still charged us with a start time of 9 am. After they struggled to make room on the small truck, which took up additional time to reposition the furniture to make room for other items. In addition, they took breaks during the move in which we had to provide them water, Gatorade and they even asked for pizza that we ordered for lunch. I figured nothing else could go wrong. They reconfirmed the address that was also listed on the moving order before leaving but was lost for over an hour. Shocking, they still charged us for that time as well. It was obvious they were paid by the hour because they would unload one light item at a time and constantly stopped to chat, etc. When they arrived at the new residence, they spend two and half hours just working on reassembling the bunk bed together, which has broken because it was assembled incorrectly. Despite hiring movers, we had no choice but to assist them and even had to reassemble the other items with the few screws we were able to locate. They took another water and pizza break at the new residence as well, which was at our expense. They stated the total move took 7.5 hours but I expressed my concerns with the start time being inaccurate, the hour they were lost and the impromptu break periods. I talked to the owner, Derek Moore and he advised they would adjust the rate accordingly to reflect the correct hours. Furthermore, he advised he was personally going to supervise the move of the pool table the following day with 4 of his movers there to assist. I contacted the owner and advised her we would return at 9 am the following morning. Furthermore, the owner advised they would be no charge to move the pool table. Well around 9:30 pm that night he asked for pictures of the pool table and stated he don’t think he would be able to move the table. He advised he would reach out to another moving company to assist with the move but I never heard anything back from him. We already paid Titan Movers $708.75 to move just 4 rooms of furniture from a 2-bedroom apartment. The owner never responded to my messages and I would call the office for an updated status on my refund (credit for the overcharges) and the outcome of moving the pool table…. No response to my calls, text messages or emails. I had to locate another company to move the table which cost an additional $375.00. Saving all the correspondence (emails, text messages and invoices) will hopefully assist in getting this issue resolved. I incurred additional expenses and my claim for the damaged items have been ignored. Please read other reviews ……. other customers have experienced the same issues (damaged furniture, no return calls, never received their credit owed, etc.). Hopefully an investigation is completed to avoid the same happening to future customers. Please, save yourself the headache by hiring a reputable and professional moving company.
It was a real pleasure working with Titan movers. They managed to meet and even exceed my expectations in terms of the quality of service, commitment and affordability. I was attracted to their competitive pricing, but after I talked to them I realized that going with them would be a win-win situation.
