Ruits Relocation & Concierge

Ruits Relocation & Concierge was one of the best moving decisions I ever made. They were fast, careful and very pleasant. It was wonderful working with them. They basically RAN back and forth from their truck the entire time they were helping me move, even thought they could have taken their time. The move was quick and painless. Price was MORE than reasonable. I have recommended them to all of my friends/co-workers that have moving needs and would call them again in an instant.

This was our second time using Ruits Relocation & Concierge and the first time was great, but this time was even better! First of all they are reliable. It is easy to book with them and they always send a couple of confirmation emails in advance. On the day of, Eduardo and his team arrived right on time to start a long day of wrapping bulky furniture and loading it carefully into their truck. They were meticulous and efficient. You would never know 3 movers were in the house we moved out of. They drove down to our new place and unloaded all furniture. We have 3 stories and it wasn't easy but again the furniture was moved in and put back together (for the pieces that could be disassembled) in perfect condition and our walls and carpet also were left in perfect condition. This is not an easy feat up stairwells. I highly recommend Roy and his team from San Jose. They worked so hard, and did the best job. We are very thankful! If you're looking for a fair price, efficient and careful movers and reliability look no further!

¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬Mark and team were great! They kept me up to date with their arrival time, and after quickly showing what needed to be moved they went straight to work. They handled all my furniture and electronics with extreme care and were extra careful also to not drag anything so they don't damage the hardwood flooring. They were also very thorough and made sure everything was set up exactly how I wanted at my new place. This is my second time using Ruits Relocation & Concierge and I would continue to recommend them for any moves.

I have had 3 successful moves with Ruits Relocation & Concierge already and would surely recommend them anytime for any move. This moving company is price adequate, affable and expert. And for those who don't like to call to companies and would rather have a chat over the email these movers can definitely accommodate that perfectly. They will give you a time estimate and will send all necessary insurances on time if your building management requires that. My first two moves were for my family out of a huge 2 bedroom apartment and these movers were very swift during the entire process. Thus the third time I called Ruits Relocation & Concierge once again to now move my studio apartment locally in San Francisco. As I expected, everything went very smooth once again: the movers arrived promptly on time, were friendly and easy to communicate yet not overly talkative, got to work right away. They always bring their hand trucks to load up a stack of boxes at once where I would carry just one, and the stairs for these movers is not a problem at all. My friend was impressed with their level of attention to protect our furniture and place it in the desired location. The movers let me direct them of where exactly I wanted my couch, tables and bookshelves placed down to the inch. Some of my items were cheap and wobbly Ikea furniture yet the movers still wrapped everything in plastic and blankets carefully. As usual for Ruits Relocaion & Concierge, not a single piece was scratched or damaged, and I felt that they were worth every penny that was spent. Hopefully I will not be moving anytime soon. It really takes a toll on my creative process. But if the move is approaching, I know which movers to email and book.

My daughter had recently received a promotion and transfer and we were seeking a mover. She and I entered an agreement with Roy Chin, owner of Ruits Relocation and Concierge, to move her from Texas to Oklahoma. I had several quotes and Roy was very cordial on the phone and actually offered us the best rate so we entered into the agreement. Our primary move date was Saturday, October 30, 2021 and the alternate move date was Sunday, October 31st. Roy promised to meet her timeframe with 2 movers and a truck. We were suppose to receive a call a couple of days prior to confirm the arrival time of the truck. No call came so I called at 12:48 pm on 10/29 and spoke with a young lady, I believe her name was Deandra or Deandria, and she informed me the truck would arrive between 10 am and 3 pm on the following day 10/30. On 10/30 no truck showed and no calls from Ruits so I called and spoke with Roy Chin who informed me he was having trouble with drivers and the truck would be there on the alternate date of 10/31 at an estimated time of between 10 am and 3 pm but someone would call to confirm. Again, no truck and no call so I again called and spoke with Roy Chin again who informed me that due to the national driver shortage he was having trouble finding a driver. He said if he could not find one he WOULD refund my daughters deposit of $997 but asked me to give him until noon the following day, November 1st, and he would contact me. I agreed but informed him that my daughter must get to her new place in Oklahoma no later than November 1st due to the start date of her new position and to sign the papers on the house or risk losing it. Noon on 11/1 passed and no communication from Roy Chin or anyone with Ruits so I again started trying to contact them. This time, no one would answer on any of the three numbers that I had used in the past to successfully contact them. I was finally able to leave a voice message on the number I had previously spoken to Roy directly on and informed him that my daughter was out of time and that I would have to rent a truck and move her myself and that I would appreciate him refunding my daughters money as he had offered. Later that afternoon we rented a 26' U-Haul and moved my daughter to Oklahoma. Neither Roy Chin nor anyone with Ruits had contacted us until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 3rd when Roy Chin called my daughter and informed her that her moving truck was 30 minutes out. Now at no other time had we been contacted by anyone with Ruits. I had to initiate all communication with them. But now he calls her and says a truck is 30 minutes out! She informed him that the moving dates had passed and we had to move her ourselves and that her father had tried to call and left a message. He said, "Oh you've already moved? I need to call my driver." He then hung up on her and after numerous attempts to contact Roy Chin or anyone with Ruits Relocation and Concierge by both phone and e-mail we have yet to reach them nor have they responded. I personally do not believe there was a truck 30 minutes away. What sensible person would dispatch a truck and drivers across country 4 days after the primary moving date was missed without first confirming with the client. Also, this was after my attempts on 11/1 to contact them and leaving Roy a voice message that I was moving her myself out of necessity. In my opinion, Ruits Relocation and Concierge is not a legitimate company and if they truly are legitimate they are definitely incompetent. Further, it is my opinion that Roy Chin is a thief for not refunding my daughter's deposit and a coward for not answering my calls or e-mails to explain why. We entered into this agreement with Ruits and Roy Chin himself in good faith. My daughter paid Roy a $997 deposit in good faith. Roy Chin and Ruits failed to provide the service they were paid to provide and neither Roy nor anyone else will contact us with an explanation. That's theft and it is cowardice! If there were a rating lower than one star they would definitely deserve it.
