Do not book them. Organized Mafia. They do it on purpose, they give and estimate but when they come to pick up everything changes. If you try to call any of Cesar, Richard or the women. No one will answer. Big rip off. Don't call them, hire them or anything. They are bad news

I booked with Raptor Van Lines about 6 weeks ago. I was first given an estimate and then told if I gave them a box count for EXACTLY how many boxes needed moved they could get me a price that would not change unless the box count changed. I paid the amount in full. They we’re supposed to pick everything up early Friday afternoon. The moving foreman showed up late Friday night. When he arrived, he informed me that the box count does not matter what matters has cubic feet which is not what I was told. In fact I was told specifically I needed a box count. He estimated that the price would more than double even though they had a correct box count…. They wanted $2,900 more. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me since it was after hours (due to them showing up very late) that he could not get a supervisor on the phone. I said in that case I wanted to wait until Monday to speak to a supervisor so I know the best way to move forward. Shortly after I received a blocked call from someone who was named Cesar who was not the most pleasant on the phone by any means. He was very pushy pretty much insisting I pay the extra amount which he was now dropping to $2,000 or he would cancel my order all together and I’d loose the deposit. I told him again I didn’t feel comfortable making any choices or sending more money after hours without being able to speak to someone in the office who could verify all this and ensure no further issues would come up. At this point he seemed to grow frustrated and said he was canceling the order and hung up the phone. Since he called from a blocked number I had no way of reaching back out so I called the moving foreman and told him as well I was not comfortable making this decision or sending more money without talking to someone who was for sure in charge and I felt very uncomfortable with the fact I was told no supervisor could call and then I get a call from a blocked number from someone claiming to be one. Monday rolls around and I call the company 16 times. Only one of the 16 calls was answered. I was put on hold and then hung up on. So I decided to email them. They did not reply to my emails but instead I got an email showing my order was cancelled and money was being refunded. I emailed again, asking why this happened and stating again I want to move forward for the discounted rate of $2,000 more but that I wanted to speak to someone in the office first to ensure nothing else could be done. They emailed me back saying that was fine but it would now be $500 more than the $2,000 due to the fact they would have to reschedule even though the only reason they would be rescheduling would be because of false information I was given to begin, with, along with the moving company, showing up so late on a Friday evening, that I could not speak to anybody in the office (no fault of my own) I emailed back immediately and said I was happy to pay the $2000 extra but I would appreciate if they would waive the $500 rescheduling fee due to the fact it was the fall of the company and not mine that it would need to be rescheduled. They then emailed me back saying that they could not help me because I no longer service my area of which I found extremely odd considering I had gotten an email less than an hour prior saying that they could for $500 extra it seems to me they just did not want to fix this issue even with me paying more. I was extremely disappointed and felt my concerns were not addressed.

If you’re looking for a reputable long-distance moving company don’t choose Raptor Van Lines! They will provide inaccurate estimates and will DOUBLE the price they give you when they arrive to pick up your items!! I received a quote from Richard in March and I listed out and told him all the items I was shipping and he provided me an estimate for 200cf and the price was $1757. I emailed him and said if I went over 200cf how much would the price be. He told me 300cf is $2109, 400cf is $2327.55, 500cf is $2517.55. I said ok great, I know the prices if I went over. Tell me why when the foreman came the day of the pick-up and even looked at the quote Richard gave me BEFORE looking at my items and said I’m not sure why he priced you at $1757 because just looking at the listed items on this quote, it’s more than 200cf. I was shocked but I said ok If I go over 200cf I know the prices then the foreman tells me NO even what Richard provided for 300cf, 400cf, and 500cf was inaccurate and he said my total would be well over $4000!!!!!! I was livid and tried to call the office and even sent an email to Richard but of course no one was there on a Saturday to answer my call. I still never got a phone call or email back from him to this day. The foreman even read the emails from Richard and was shocked that he told me inaccurate numbers. The foreman calls his manager (which I was told I couldn’t talk to at the moment only he could) Wild right!! The manager said for $3000 they’ll ship it all. The foreman said I had a valid case and to call the office on Monday so they can lower the price due to the miscommunication. So, because of that discussion, with him I decided to sign the form. I just received an email today stating because I agreed to $3000, I have to abide by it but they will give me a discount of $250. $250??????? I am sick and will be at the hospital for treatment the next couple of weeks and don’t have the time or strength to look and get other quotes from movers. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else!! So please do your research and go with a HONEST company. Even with proof they will honor what they said.
