We moved to a 1 bedroom apartment in AL with basically no hiccups. The movers arrived on time and were very professional. More than that, they were friendly and helpful with taking oddly-sized and fragile items. I would recommend them to everyone!
BUYER BEWARE. IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO I WOULD. This company will lure you with a low cost, and once you are packed up and they are ready to pick up the foreman tells you, you have more stuff than they thought and they DOUBLE your price, after you've already paid a deposit to move forward. They show up in rented Budget or Ryder trucks and store your stuff for up to 30 days, maybe more, but they tell you your move will only take a week. Then they ask for payment prior to unload, as well as to sign that you've recieved your items BEFORE unload and they won't unload without it. The payment they ask for to unload is a form of payment that is non-disputable, they do this for a reason, folks. They'll unload the truck, but with only a portion of your things and unless you have your own inventory list, you won't notice if half your stuff is missing because they spread the boxes all over the house. They drive away before you notice and now they have 100% of your money and half your belongings, holding it for ransom or never to be seen again. Read reviews folks, its suspect all other reviews here are daily and all 5-stars. This company is a fraud and this happened to me and many other folks, READ YELP AND ALL REVIEW SITES NOT JUST THE COMPANYS OR SITES LIKE THIS WHERE THEY CAN POST A REVIEW A DAY TO MISLEAD CUSTOMERS.
I had a truly excellent experience with Rapid Van Lines movers. The movers themselves went above and beyond in the service that they offered. Their customer service has also been excellent. I will recommend them to everyone I know!
