American Standard Moving and Storage is a scam. We gave them a list of items to be moved and they quoted us a price. On moving day the mover showed up and classified 70% of our items as "Bulky" items that required a premium fee. Bottom line our $2800 quote ballooned to $6300. They refused to move us for the contracted fee of $2800. When we refused to pay the $6300, the mover left and American Standard refused to refund our $1300 deposit.
Horrible service . highly unrecommended . Not Honest at all . it has been 1 month and my shipment is still at pick up destination. They advertise themselves as a facilitator but all what they did with me is just selling me lies for 1200$ they took from me as a broker. They told me my shipmentwillbedeliveredin 12 days after pick up and now it has been 30 days and still my shipment still at pick up city. Was given 4 different days to come pick up my stuff and each day had to leave work early and they did not show up please stay away from this company . and share with all your friends .

Not only is this company completely unprofessional- they are disrespectful and ignorant of basic human decency. I received a text message mocking me when I mentioned I was going with a different company after receiving a disturbing voicemail from the cellphone that kept texting me- Mocking me saying 'you don't need to make excuses for not being able to afford us'. Are you serious? Is that how you conduct business? By insulting customers. Meanwhile, the voicemail I received was asking if I would pay for a Hooker. Yes, you read that correctly. A hooker. I have it saved. I've sent it to local news outlets in the Boca area. The company's response: "We listened to the voicemail and we agree it's inappropriate, however we believe he pocket dialed you and wasn't asking you to pay for the hooker directly." OH MY GOD!!! Is this a joke!!!! So that makes it ok? Am I on candid camera? No offer to compensate, No offer to make it right.. just sorry. Sorry we have super sketchy employees. WTF. Stay FAR FAR AWAY. Literally any company has to be better than this one. Especially if you are a single female moving alone - I would not trust these men at all.Â
As a new immigrant to the united states, I never believed Americans could be so unreliable and untrusted. I made a deal with a customer rep called MIKE. He would call me every day and night just to reach a deal, we agreed on $1380 and I was told I still had space to add a few more items. A few days later, I called him to add a few more boxes which he said was not a problem. I paid a deposit of $380. The pick up date came and an entirely different company came to pick up my stuffs, ALL AMERICAN MOVERS. That was when I realized they were BROKERS not the real movers. I was asked to pay $2500 as against $1380 I already signed to pay. I called Mike and every other customer service number I had to explain the issues,but none ever picked up or replied my mails. I begged and bargained with the new company that came to pick up my items with so much frustration, I ended up agreeing to pay extra $400. For delivery, I was told to call and give 48hours notice, but when I called, I was told it would take 5-21 business days which was not written earlier. My husband and I slept on the floor of our new apartment for over 8days with just blankets before our furniture were brought. At delivery, it was also a different company. We were told to pay extra $500 to move our stuffs to our apartment. My husband and I didn't have any money so we were made to move our stuffs ourselves. They just helped us assemble the bed, dining table and TV stand. Meanwhile we were told they would arrange everything for us. Our bed, dining table and side table was damaged from the storage, but we decided to let go cos we didn't want any more heart aches. I would strongly not recommend this company as they are not movers but brokers and are only interested in taking your deposit only to disappear thereafter.
They are NOT the actual movers...but brokers. Jordan who was my initial contact was awesome. The customer service lines seemed to be annoyed when you call. The price was reasonable but again it was not specifically mentioned nor verbalized that they are a broker. Pick up date/time & Delivery date/time are all estimates. So you don't know when you are getting your stuff. I'm giving the actual "other" company the stars.
