After moving for the first time, I’m glad I went with Northern Moving Systems. The idea of moving a long distance (from the Philadelphia area to Chicago) was very scary, but they made it so easy and low stress. My family and I moved up to Killington, Vermont from Taos, New Mexico to be close to family, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Northern Moving Systems. I was able to set up a move time over the phone very quick, and the team that showed up to move our stuff were so professional. I have had moves were stuff was lost and damaged during the move before, but not this time! Everything arrived safe and sound after the incredibly long move. The team was also super patient with my kids as well, which definitely lightened the mood! I would recommend anyone moving long distances to use Northern Moving Systems!
Another fine move by these guys on a cold wet crappy day, a short haul across town. They had my old place cleaned out in just over an hour including my stupidly-heavy washing machine down a flight of stairs then back up another at the new place. Total time was under three hours. Nothing was broken or scratched and they set up my mattress and frame.
Northern Moving System was the first out of several moving companies to respond to my quote request -- fair rate, great service prior to the move. We can all agree moving is the WORST, but they made it way less stressful. They were professional, fast, and friendly. Will definitely use them again!
